Is it a class you go to or a program at home? Let us know how it goes. My daughter is about the same age as you son, her birthday is in august. I am working on quantities and doman math method with her but she doesn't seem interested. I'm hoping to find another way to get her interested in math.

I'm not an expert on all things Doman, but this is the math method as I understand it. Babies are born knowing how to tell quantities. They just need us to tell them the names of those quantities. But they only retain this gift until the age of 2.5. So you will be able to teach them math with this method until that age. They don't lose the knowledge you teach them, they are just not able to recognize quantities after that. So if you teach them math during this time they retain it, I guess. Lol

Actually she is very tiny. My first was a very chubby, . I do put things out of her reach when she is on her hands and knees. She rocks and tries to move a hand forward to move but then falls on her tummy again. And rolls over. Well I guess I will just keep putting her in that position. I have never heard of anyone having this problem with their babies,

Avery is 6 mos now. She is such a rolly pollie, . She was able to roll over from tummy to back at 3 weeks. But about 2 mos ago she really realized that she can roll over when she wants to. She likes being on her back. So now I put her on her tummy she immediatly rolls over. Lol. I try to entertain her but she just rolls over. She can balance on her hands and knees, so I put her there and she rocks back and forth. But when she gets tired and falls to her tummy she rolls over again. Any advice?

He might think it's more interesting if there are pictures or funny videos too. But you know what, he is probably doing fine with just the cards. If he likes it he's learning. I am not very consitant either. But I put words on the wall for my daughter and she reads them when she feels like it. So it's always fun. And she is reading so many words now. And starting to use phonics. GL with whatever you choose

You could easily make a presentation on your computer and put it on a DVD. You can use PowerPoint. I also have been wantin to make a few movies for my kids using windows movie maker. I know a lot of computers come with some sort of movie maker. That way you can have the words he is interested in.
