I am also stressed about this specially at this time of the year .Most of my kids friends go away for summer holiday back home and come back when the schools start . So for almost 2 months there are some friends we didn't see and now they are visiting checking how are we doing . And at the beginning of every year , i got asked the same question : SO ARE THEY GOING THIS YEAR and of course the whole long lecture about how much they are missing , how much his would affect them socially , specially my boy who needs to be with other boys play games learn to fight , defend himself ...bla bla bla . they don't know that part of not sending him out there is because of that . Our conversation gets so uncomfortable . i feel deep inside also i never judge them and respect their choice in schooling their kids , they feel judged . they wonder why should my kids be any different than theirs . i just want to sit and enjoy their company but i wish they respect my choice of how to bring up my kids . viv

ok i loved the link sonya shared but 150 dollars is a lo for us , so i would choose to go hunting them for free. Unfortunatly this would take me for ever , i have no time i work in my sleep so i went back to the site and was reading through and at the end i found a link to buy this same set for only 50 dollars. Well this makes a big difference , that is why i was wondering what did dad dude mean by saying he paid 50 dollars for the set . So if you are really considering those books don't let the 150 dollars price put you off , when i clicked buy the kindle edition it took me to check out for only 50 dollars . viv

Oh i could not afford it myself , we have heavy on going medical expenses , but also because of my daughter specialneeds (quadriplegic ) I am kinda of really focusing on my kids physical development . having them at home i didn't want them to miss out on PE , and when i discussed with a very dear friend of mine teacher she herself complained that in our schools unfortunately there is no proper PE education . We were already meeting weekly for craft , painting , pottery . I make lots of effort to host such events so i don't have to leave my specialneed daughter behind so I am more than happy to have our art group in our house , all the mums would help out with snacks and material , i will prepare some I love baking , and we invite a local artist to join us . We also did dancing the same way once a week , i am blessed with big outdoor and am more than happy to not have to go out of the house . I discussed with the parents and all got together to buy the program and we do it as a group , really fun , so in a way i was lucky i didn't have to pay anything , i provided the ground i really like it . it is so different than running around in the garden , very flexible can be adapted to different age groups , of course my three years old is still to the young side won't follow direction but happy to just be around and join as much as he can . it is so much fun when we parents join in . viv
