i watched the segment on oprah while pregnant, but i didn't buy the DVD cos I just figured by instinct and after spending time with her, you would know what's wrong with your baby.and my LO is pretty much like yours, breaks into hysterical cry and you really cn't pick outthe sounds. But some people wil highly recommend it though, so I guess it's a matter of personl choice.

we're starting mother and baby swimming session in 2 weeks at a local pool. would have wanted to ntake her earlier but we're not allowed till after her 4 month jabs. I guess the earlier you cn take them swimming the better.

Just discovered my 4 month old loves the dot recognition. She gets really excited once I start showing her the slideshow with the dots. I could almost see a look of disapointment when I stop. It's really fascinating to see the enthusiasm she shows. I think I've actually overdone the colours though, I've shown it way too many times and so now after about 3 slides, she looks away!. I'm going to get my LR soon, just trying to accumulate some more points to get a reasonable discount. Can't wait!!!

hello, i tried looking thru the boards to see if my question has already been answered but I didn't find it. I'm just about to get my LR and LM. I have a laptop that I generally use everytime, and also a desktop downstairs. My question is, is it possible to have LR on both or can I only have it on one computer? My other question is, what if for any reason, the computer with LR on it packs up and  we get another, can we download it onto the new computer or we'll have to buy LR all over again. Thanks for your help.

My LO is 3months old now and she's never liked tummy time. She just fusses and starts to cry if I leave her on it. I never got the crawling track and I try to put her on her tummy when she's taking a nap, but once she's awake, she prefers sitting in her bouncer or lying on her back.

My questions here are
1. Did I leave it too late to start doing the tummy time?

2. should I persist on the tummy time even when she's crying, and if so, for how long.

3. Can I just use a gym mat if I can't get the crawling track

4. Any other advice/suggestion to make her enjoy being on her tummy?

This question came as a result of a discussion my other half and I had. we're both well for teaching kids as early as possible, but he just asked what becomes of these kids later, say in their teenage years. Do they slow down and just remain above average? I suppose they'll just be able to learn faster than their peers but it got me thinking and I just want people's opinions on this especially people who have older children who were taught early.

the baby HOP is not really any formal teaching, its just songs, she loves the itsy bitsy spider as well- i do too! we just play it in the background while she's on her bouncer or something. the real phonics teaching starts at age 4. it's actually called hooked on baby for age 3-18mths.
