The notion that baby carriers can cause hip dysplasia is a misunderstanding and has no scientific foundation. This is confirmed by leading child orthopedists.

I would say go for what the majority have suggested.

I have a BabyBjorn Miracle.  Love it so much.  We go everywhere with it with my daughther . Can't imagine going out without one!  It is so convenient and easy to use.  Can put the baby in the carrier without help. (Need to practice a few times first).  Baby insert is not required too.  Can be used facing front or towards you. It is also convenient for transiting too compared to a push chair . 

Can be used from birth, max weight 13kg. Bought it when my daugther was 3 months old.  Had a different carrier before and within a week, I lost the waist strap, and it was not easy to adjust the length of the strap when me and my hubby swap over, we have to help each other (With the BabyBjorn Miracle, it is so easy, you can adjust it yourself).

I also have a home made sling.  Agree that it only distributes weight on one side.  I do use it at home just before nap times mainly.

Each baby is different, some baby with more advanced motor skill may start rolling around 3 months.

Some may start rolling after 5 to 6 months. 

Babies often develop more quickly in one area than in another and this is not a cause of concern.  Some babies can walk before tey talk and vice versa.  They all catch up eventually.

with regards to stretch mark, it varies individually. 

They tends to fade after pregnancy.  New stretch mark usually appears red and become white / paler with times.  Once the stretch mark is there, it is unlikely that it will disappear.  It will fade which made it less visible...

I used Bio oil religiously throughout my pregnancy.  They started to appear during the 3rd trimester....the redness of the marks has now faded 6 months after delivery.

I also had a bad morning sickness that lasted whole day.  Luckily it got better after 1st trimester.  I found taking plenty of rests helped.  Strange enough, I also found taking fisherman's sweets seemed to take the edge off it!! Couldn't explain why though...Had tried lots of others remedies but didn't work for me.

With regards to disposable diaper, it needs to be changed frequently in order to avoid the nappy rash.  It is the urea that irritates the skin.  So if the baby has a soiled nappy, change it immediately.

Can use paraffin oinment as a barrier before putting on a fresh nappy after cleaning with cotton and water.

Experiments with different store brand and see which work best.  Often their quality is not too bad compared to the branded one and they are cheaper...
