Hi Angmei....What a genius boy!! Reading encyclopedia at vey young age!! Thanks for your suggestions. As you said, about playing and teaching the child 30 minutes, could you give some examples what to teach the kid during that time? Teaching anything he s interested in, right? You did not mean GD method or Shichida method ,did you? And I understand what you said about laziness with the second child. You know i have tons of my eldest son photo but have very little for my daughter. I am too lazy to take the photo all the time(unlike my first son) ha ha

Thank you so much Luckymommy1307 for your time and contribution!! I am really appreciated the education plan. It is very useful for me anf for others, I am sure.
I also think that the child who start from Shichida method will have difficulty with GD method. It might bore them. I plan to appply Shichida method when she is older than 2 years old.
Frankly speaking, I hv just know Glenn Doman method and also Shichida method.(less than a month) So i feel very sorry and guilty for my eldest son whom I did not do anything to. Now he s 2.5 years old. After I know about GD. I bought the kit. It is really expensive for me but I have no time to waste. I have to look after 2 kids that s too busy to prepare materials. I start teaching him and also my daughter Math first. Just start Reading last week. According to GD method, i have to 21 sessions (Read 15+ Math 6) but I cannot. It s too much. So I do about 14 sessions per day. But still wonder is it gonna work? because I did not do what exactly the book say.
And I know the book "how smart is your baby" but wondering is it okay to use with my daughter who are 6 months old. Is it for the new-born?? (Maybe I need to raise this question in new topic) If it s applicable to 6 mo old. I m thinking about buying the book

Dear trinity papa,
Do you mean that Chinese books are more methodology and more practical? I cannot read Chinese but I can read Japanese. Probably, I will try to get Japanese version. Which book do you recommend? Could you please let me know the name in Chinese (or ENG). I understand Chinese letter.(Cannot read but know the meaning)
Thanks

As my son turned 2 years old, he get angry easily (Terrible 2). He screamed often lie down on the floor and cried. Then, I was advised to talk to my son after he fall asleep for about 5 minutes in the positive words. Like "I am a happy boy", "I d like to smile to everybody" something like that. Avoid using negative word like "I am not angry"--> the meaning is okay but "angry" is negative word. It quite work for my son.

EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child to Read / Should begin with Read first? Or both math and read?

Hi there,
I am new to Gd method and dont even have time to read the book. I skip the first few chapters to read at Chapter 7 to save my time. Now I have both Math card and Read cards in hands. That is my status now.
I would like to do math and read to my kids, 2.4 years old son and 6 months old daughter. GD suggest to do reading first but I dont want to waste my time. (I wasted lots of time before knowing GD method) Is it too many sessions for them? Can I do both math and read at the same session? Actually, I started Math card for almost 2 weeks before i found that Glenn Doman suggest reading first. so confused now. Do you have any suggestions?
For Math, my son seems to like it and repeat my words all the time I showed him (I did not ask him to but he did it by himself) My daughter prefer to look at my face instead of the cards! What should I do?
And how about encyclopedic knowledge? May I use Powerpoint presentation to 6 months old? too young? just afraid that it might not good for her eyes.
Thanks in advance ing
