Hubby just does not want to have to do that before we leave. For those to do allow your kids to draw on the walls how do they do when you go to others houses? Do they still try and draw on the walls? Thanks for the help CJ

thanks those are great ideas I wish I had the foam letters but we can not find them here in Itlay. I will not worry then about teaching him letter names and will just work on reading since he seems to enjoy learning to do that. Thanks for all the information. CJ

we did not teach our oldest but our second son we worked with him and now he is able to tell us what he needs. and I am hoping that he will start telling us when he needs to go to the restroom. He is like is older brother and does not say the name of the animal rather he makes the animal sound and signs what it is. I would work on it with your kids. its great.

do any of you ladies rent? I would love to be able to allow my boys the freedom to draw on a given wall but we rent and will not own our own place for many years to come. WE are military and will be moving around a lot. do you all know if there are "moveable" walls that I could put up and take down each time we move. HHMM maybe we could make one.... well thanks for the craft site those are great. cj

We count the eggs we use to make breakfast. We crak one and then I ask him one pluse one is what? two pluse one is and so on till we reach the number we need. I do the same when shoping I have him get me 10 apples and we add one every time. sometimes he will add two. I also sing songs with my fingers like one little two little three little piggies.... When I serve them up food we count how many I give him of his veggies or fruits. also counting how many strawberries it takes to make a cup or other fruits. great thread cj
