My daughter was exposed to 3 languages (Russian, Farsi and English) regularly since she was born and Arabic occasionally (since we live in an Arab country my husband is making an effort to read books in Arabic for her and point out things in them). She started speaking around 9 months and her first words were mama, papa and ab(water in Farsi), by 17 months she could speak 200 words clearly in all 4 languages, mainly from LR categories like fruits, animals, body parts. Now she is a bit more than 20 months old, she speaks phrases and even short sentences, and can repeat virtually any word you tell her and does so when hearing conversations, so we don't even know how many words she speaks now, although she is still sometimes confused which language to speak to who and may put 2 -3 words from different languages in one sentence. But I believe she will have it all figured out soon. She is much more ahead of most of her friends in terms of speaking though exposed to many languages. I think it is solely due  to LR and regular book reading. She knows all the alphabet and main phonic sounds, and does try to read i think, but still refuses to demonstrate her ability to us, so we don't push her either. She loves music as well, her favorites are Mozart and Bach.

Hallo KL! Sounds really good! I can't wait to try the new curriculum, but, unfortunately, I can't!  I have PMed Lappy and Shuki, asking them to delere the secode activation code for my LM, as I have to install the new build on a new laptop, but I guess they are too busy now. I know it's Sunday, but we just can't wait to try new LM! Please, help!

Здравствуйте, девочки! Очень приятно познакомиться! И отрадно, что нас русскоговорящих становиться больше на этом форуме! Насчет программы: Аня эта программа позволяет создавать карточки, подобные Доману, но плюс к ним можно добавлять картинки, видео и произношение, также легко перевести уже существующие категории, созданные другими членами форума. Программа - замечательная! Она очень гибка и индивидуальна! Плюс на английском языке они создали очень хороший график уроков, все что нужно - просто проигрывать уроки два раза в день! Очень удобно! Весьма рекомендую, хотя понимаю, что цены теперь "кусаются". Здесь также много РРS  презентаций, и вообше форум отличный.
Если есть какие-нибудь вопросы не стесняйтесь задавать, постараемся помочь.

Interesting, but I got full green circle after playing the lesson twice today. Is it a mistake? Actually it makes more sense as when you complete the lesson it should be full.

I have downloaded the new LR and 6-month curriculum! Fabulous! We watched the day 1 today with my daughter, and though all the words there she has seen before and she can say them already, but because the format is different and there is new media, she loved it! I hope she will continue to do so! Thank you very much for all your hard work!
And though I can relate to what was said about the new price being expensive, I can also say that in my opinion it is really worth it! And if you continue working as hard as you do right now and continue to surprise us with all the new things, I am sure that your business is doomed to success!

Привет Вика! Приятно познакомиться! Да такая проблема, я думаю, существует у многих, кто живет за рубежом. Моя доченька (ей только 1.5 года) начала говорить сразу на 4 языках, довольно хорошо для ее возраста, но путает с кем на каком языке говорить. Если она начинает говорить со мной на другом языке, я повторяю то, что она сказала или хотела сказать на русском в виде вопроса иногда несколько раз и говорю ей: "скажи: ... " и она старается сказать мне по-русски то, что я сказала. Я думаю, это очень важно так как они действительно говорят то, что им легче сказать, но если мы будем просто принимать это, то они постоянно будут смешивать языки или вообще не заговорят по-русски.
ЛР действительно хорошая программа для обучения любому языку, все, что нужно сделать это либо скачать уже существующие русские файлы, либо переводить английские на русский, что не так уж и сложно. Я думаю, что моя дочька начала так рано говорить на нескольких языках только благодаря этой программе, так как ее первые слова были именно оттуда, так что я весьма рекомендую поторопиться с покупкой ввиду грядущего удорожания. Еще я бы посоветовала найти сынишке русскоговорящих сверсников, идеально если они не говорят по-английски, и регулярно устраивать плейгруп, так как без этого, дети просто считают, что русский им не так уж и нужен.

Kak reshu svoi problemy postaraus snova pristupit ke perevodam.

Hi Nikollet,
just out of my experience, I used to press Rename and apply to all files before when importing and translating  somebody else's categories. But I don't do that any more as I ended up having several same pictures and audio in my media library, which, by the way, takes a lot of space and makes your computer slower eventually, so I press skip when it comes to those.
