Actually my husband does a better job at teaching my boys than I. He's much more patient and knows how to deal with each one of them. In terms of flashcards, he knows how to keep their interest better too.

My baby doesn't seem to like seeing the dot cards, so we stopped for a while. Any ideas to help?

I've been homeschooling my boys. My eldest is 6, and so far he's enjoying it!

As for social interaction, I have read somewhere that homeschooled children can actually socialise better as they interact more with adults. I'll have to go check up on that source. But from what I observed from my boys, this also depends on their character. My eldest is more shy compared to his brother, and takes a longer time to warm up to strangers. But he can't stop talking once he's familiar with the person 

You can also make a similar book for the alphabet, just find pictures which begin with each letter of the alphabet. I made one with my firstborn and he loved it!

Hi all

I'm a mom of 3 boys as my nick suggests. They are 6, 4 and 1 year old respectively. I used Glenn Doman on my 1st born, he could read at 2 years old. I got more busy when it came to my 2nd born, so less flashcards for him. Hopefully I can rekindle the flashcards for my no. 3    Hope to contribute some ideas, and also learn from the rest of you!
