Just wondering if any of you home-schooling parents out there are also going to school, College that is    
I recently started last Fall and it sure has shaken things up a bit in our household and just was curious  about others in my situation...

~> I am currently taking my General education classes at the moment. I have my Student success, Eng comp 1, and speech completed so far. I plan on taking Intro to computers and Intro to psych this summer and A&P1 with Algebra this Fall. Then A & P 2 the following spring. Then it will be time for Occupational Therapy Assisting Program.


I would Love to hear every one elses college plans, history, how you amke it work at home, etc too!

I think you hit in on the head when you said "Pre" preg. body. Even those perfect body mommas don't ever look like they used to. Sad to think they could look better, i know :_(

~>Instead of worry about getting back, focus on trying to be as healthy and in shape you can be.
Here are my tips to get healthier:
1. Breastfeed, this not only is better for baby, but it helps you lose weight by burning hundreds of calories a day!
2. Since your baby is about ready or is already eating some food, set a good example and cook natural foods that you can eat and you can puree for baby. ( trust me its cheaper then pre-made and taistes better for baby too) foods that are great are oat meal, fruits,eggs (whites if you can handle that) Veggies, meat that is not fried
3.do baby workouts: stroller walks, play groud play (trust me you get a good sweat if you play right) you can use your baby on your belly or legs to add weight while you do leg lifts and but lifts.
4. plenty of water! For ever caffinated beverage drink 2 glasses of water.

Hope this helps and try not to worry. It took almost a year to get it on it may take at least that to get it off. Once you do, accept and love your new mommy figure, you earned it! ((Hugs))

We used Time4Learning with my son for prek if that helps any    Wish I could offer more, but that is all we used as far as an all in one type of program.

Anyone have ideas on how to teach nicer handwriting? My daugter (10yrs) handwriting is sloppier than I like, but I do not know how to make it nicer. She does a lot of practice writing, but still sloppy

~> We live in Florida, USA  We choose to school year round. We like it because we can take breaks when needed and do less through out the week. However, we do take about 3 weeks off in the summer so I can get evaluations done etc

www.NVIC.org  This is a Great website to get vaccine information. Vaccines carry many risks, not just Autism. We do not vax at all, but that is our choice. I feel as long as a parent is making an educated choice then no judgements! I just wish more parents would research before just vaccinating...

Wish I could help, but we use an online program (Time4Learning) It keeps EVERYTHING for us, records ect.  Although the picture idea is a good one, for all my kids home made Art work Thanks for sharing it!
