Martusia, This method of yours is fantastic. Karma to you. Can you please tell me what it is you use for the words to stick on the board?
Ever since we've returned home from visiting family in London a couple of months ago, I've been trying to gather material to teach my son where his grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins live. A month ago I ordered a world map wall decal to put on his bedroom wall (we plan to do this tomorrow). I am hoping that it'll will help him to start recognizing different places and continents...

I gave my son the PediaSure, but he didn't enjoy it as I thought he would, he only drank 1 or 2 oz each time, maybe because it didn't taste natural or maybe he's still full from drinking milk...who knows!
Skylark, thanks for your recipe for the smoothie, I am going to try it out but will probably leave out the vitamins as my son has started to eat a little more then a week ago.

Kreena,
I am not clear what it is, but I am hoping it's some kind of savings fund to save up for my child for his future college fees... Since, I am not getting any great replies here I guess I'll have to do the research myself or get my husband to do it... I hate looking into those kind of things!

PY, Your daughter sounds so cute, what a lovely dilemma to have.
I will be using some of the above tips for my son as he's already started to ask for more books especially around nap time and sleeping time, he'll rather have a book read to him then sleep and if I refuse to read more he would just yell and cry until I give in. I've started to buy him more simple 1 or 2 word per page board books so he can learn and read those on his own, I would give him about 8 books to read on the floor, this will last for about 10/15 mins which is enough time in the morning for me brush my teeth and wash my face.

Jaluitgirl,
That's so wonderful to hear, I am glad it's working out for you. It made me so excited while reading your last post that I can't wait to start my son on Doman math. But my Glenn Doman book only arrived yesterday, I'll have to read that first and try to understand the method fully before embarking on it... one step at a time I guess!

Hi Khatty,
We have Pedialyte here in the US too, but I believe that's to help replace lost fluid and electrolytes from when they're have diarrhea and vomiting. Where as PediSure is to help put on the calories and bulk up the child's weight. I think they might both be made from the same company.
Which reminds me I have to get a new bottle of Pedialyte, my DH finished the first bottle I ever bought... haha,he was quite sick that day... he told me afterwards that it really did help.

Nhockaday and Niniedney,
Thank you for your advise, I think I will get some today and try them out with son (hopefully he won't miss it when the time comes to stop giving it to him). Any ideas on how many bottles I should give a day and for how long? Should I give it to him until he starts eating regularly again or until he puts his weight back on?
