Totally worth it !!  My daughter was 4 years old when I attended and although she was "old" I walked away with tons of new information, presentations, materials, and the most important experience for us: we were able to see first hand not only the kids of the THomas Evans Institute taking different lessons and showing us tremendous abilities but we were able to talk to moms that have been following Doman for years and we were able to ask any number of questions about any topic every day!! this you can not achieve by reading the books and wantching the dvds.

In fact after viewing the dvs and reading the books - I still did not believe that their method could change kids minds that much; the books are veryyyy old and somehow boring and so are the videos - but for some reason (Thank God)  I decided to go and evaluate it myself - I did not want to miss something big. I did not want to risk missing out because of someone else's experience. I would rather try it and waste time and money than live wondering how this experience would have reshaped our lifes. But that is just me.   

Taking the classes was "The best desicion"  I have made as a teacher and mom.

Highly recommended.

Question for you: is this the same Arabic that Rosetta Stone teaches?
I am cluless about Arabic and Arabic dialects,  I want to start gathering resources
and knowledge about it.  I am also planing on visiting Egypt soon
so I am trying to get a clear picture of how the culture and language
works.

I did the homework for chinese and I know it takes time and lots of
reading to figure these things out.

My Daughter loves the Magic Tree House as well, the audio book (found in most libraries) as well as the Research Guide the nonfiction companion books for the same series are very good as well.

Something that made me chuckle -  I stumbled across the Peter Weatherall videos on youtube the other day (there's a video above) and I started playing the Polygon song - https://emea.salesforce.com/00Q2000000AgxvE  for my son. We only watched about 3/4 of it. He's almost 2 1/2. I went on to other videos and didn't think twice about it.

The next day he's coloring, points to his paper at his scribbles and says "Look mom, its a octagon!" (I'm very surprised to say the least, since I've never taught him other shapes besides basic ones)

That is cute!!! Well I believe it was Nikita who posted here about Peter Weaterall  Thanks Nikita!) - his dvds are Great and very affordable, I went to his website and was happily surprised with the content and ordered 3 sets (2 science and 1 math) -

One set includes 2 DVDs and 2CDs  for $10 including shipping!!  it is unbeatable !! The author loves teaching and his charge is basically to cover expenses  (shipping and cds)   worth looking into.

I will post my review as soon as I get them.  This is one of the sets I ordered.
