I am for early childhood education/learning. When I found out that YBCR cease business operations it got me thinking about brillkids. The question I have is will the same thing happen to brillkids that happened to YBCR? I just downloaded the little reader and little math trial. So far I really like it. Once my trial is up I would like to purchase both products.
For instance as of now you cant go on YBCR website to get info about the program. Some links on brillkids software refer you online and if the site was down what could you do about it? I would not be able to download more lessons, visit the forum, or ask question if i had issues with the progrom. All the thing I really like about Brillkids. I just wish for the best.

 I would remove all distractions from the room. You might want to leave him with one toy to chew on. The best time to do flash cards is early in the morning possibly when your little one first wakes up, during bath time, after playing, during feeding or right afterwards...etc. It all depends on your child.

If your little one is being very active this does not mean you should not show them flash card. You can turn it into a game. Which is something I had to do with my little one. I'll would put her in her jumper and go through the cards as quickly as I can. (jump, stop, no, hi.... etc) Over and over again. After that I would scramble the cards up an go through them a few more times but this time around i would change the tone of my voice. (mainly to keep her interested) Once were finished I would then act out all the cards we went over.  I would say the word jump, jump jump jump. Every time I say it i would jump an she would jump with me. When I want to stop I would say stop. When she sees that I am no longer jumping she would stop as well.

Need help with installing the free trial. I followed the instructions on the "How to get a free trial for Little Reader."  I got all the way to step 6.  I opened the file and double-click on the installer but now I am receiving a message that says "Compressed (zipped) Folders- This application may depend on other compressed files in this folder. For the application to run properly, it is recommended that you first extract all files." It gives me the option to Extract all, Run, or Cancel. Which one should I select?
