What is your routine?  I have been showing about 40 words per session 3 times a day.  I show each slide for 3 seconds so the whole thing is over in a couple minutes.  My daughter gets mad when it is over and wants me to play more.  I have been thinking of adding math after the reading.  Not sure how to go about that.  TIA

Rowan, now 17 months, is saying several new words every day.  Today’s new words included @*#!  I guess I have to start watching what I say around her .  Her twin brother Desmond has become very enthusiastic about signing.  He still doesn’t say many words but he has greater range of pitch than his sister.  Both have been trying to sing.

My sister and cousin both practiced child led weaning.  Most of the kids self-weaned between 2 and 3 years old, but my cousin’s oldest weaned after he turned 5 years.  He is in his mid 20’s now and I just found out he has Autism Spectrum Disorder.  He is so well adjusted; I really think the extended BF helped him cope with it all.  I have 17 month old twins who still BF and I haven’t yet decided when to wean.  I guess I am just hoping they will decide to do it on their own before it becomes an issue for me.

I am the mother of 17 month old boy/girl twins living in the Portland metro area.  I have been watching Signing Time on and off with my twins since they were 6 months old.  I also checked out Dr. Titzler’s program but decided against it because I didn’t want my kids learning to sing off key.  Since then I kept saying I was going to make some Power Point slides but never got the time.  Thank you so much for your slide shows; they are a big hit with my kids.  My girl started crying when the show was over. 
I had a couple questions about the slide shows.  Where can I find instructions on how to best present the slides?  Since my kids enjoy watching them so much is it possible to show them too often or too many slides at a time?    Also, is there a reason the slides take three minutes to advance on their own: is there an optimal amount of time to show each slide?
