I really worry about this.  My little girl is almost eight months old and still is not really crawling.  I didn't give her enough tummy timein the beginnng because she hated it so much.

I also have tile flooring.  I have bought mats for us to play on, but I am thinking about getting a large area rug so she isn't limited in her exploring.

That is facinating!  I'm not sure if I am a true believer yet or not. .  .

We also do some fine-motor skill activity, like picking small beads with tweezers... hmmm , not easy!!! Oh, there's also ESP games, freaky... haa haa.... and introduction to other languages, notably Japanese...

I am so curious about the ESP games.  Are they trying to develop true ESP or just attention to details that others may miss?  Sometimes I think that deeply empathic people come across as "psychic" when they are just very intuitive.

I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself.  I have been lurking for a couple of months and have been using the Little Reader with my almost eight month old.  I am doing the flashcards just twice a day, but I think the exposure is helping her learn.  She seems to enjoy it which is what really matters!

I have focusing on shapes and colors, but show her random "bits of intelligence" slides so she won't be bored.

Just wanted to finally introduce myself!
