Thanks Aangeles Unfortunately Singapore Math delivers in the US and Canada only. What bothers me with the SGBox website is that I don't see what I'm buying, plus the workbooks do not seem to be the 'original' Singapore Math. I have found a distributor in the UK: Mathsnoproblem.co.uk which delivers to Europe. There's a glitch with the checkout that I am trying to overcome soon, I'll keep you posted!

Time for a little update on the challenge. We're still doing well, with many new english books. We've started first readers, a nice change from chapter books. The only thing I've stopped doing is writing down the name of the books, but I know from looking at the book shelves which ones have been read and approx. how often. We aim to read 30 mn every nights and more during the week-end.

EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child to Read / Re: Teaching phonics in two languages?

Mybabymyan We face the same issue with french and english. My daughter now knows how to combine consonants and vowels [m] and sounds [mi] in French. I'm reading first readers to her in English now and there are issues with words spelled the same. So I always remind her when we start that this is in English and that words will sound differently even if they are written the same. There are some confusions but I keep going.
