How do you teach her geography? Do you teach her the cards just like a photo of e.g. flower?

But you show love to your child all the time and you have the same atitude like you are shoving a new toy.

That's a good tip, I will keep this in mind.

I felt rather silly initially especially since I wasn;'t even sure she had a clue of what i was doing,but I just persisted and once I saw the reaction from her and how much she looked foward to the sessions, I felt less and less silly and got more comfortable.

I am a really really bad singer and my sing song voice is bad, too. We do all the things with LR/LM. But actually, I stopped for a while because I found that the lessons should be more funny for my kid.

Frukc, I invested much money buying the math kit with the red dots... and after a few day my daughter hates it, too . But I will try - again a great investion - Little Math next.

I think we should also be relaxed about the "timetable / scheldure" of learning. After reading the Doman's book I was so fascinated. I spent a lot of time to do the boardcards and I tried to follow strictly the timetable (3-5 sets / 5 words / show each set 3 times a day), but soon I noticed the given timetable was too exhausting for me and the words were bored for my child, too.  Even though I am a full-time mother and have only 1 little child, but I don't know where the time goes. Now I am more relaxed, with the Little Reader I show all playlists at once, 2-3 times a day.

Everywhere I can read that  maybe the most important things in teaching young children is to make it funny for them. I know that FUN ist very important for learning, too. But I am not a funny type of person and I can't introduce so much fun for my child while showing them words etc. (tried it 2 months).

Has anybody the same problem? Did you succeed anyway?

at this forum there are so many recommendation for really good websites for EK, languages, maths etc.
I noticed that some of the recommendation is repeated from time to time or some recommendation is somewhere "by the way" in a post.

That's why I would wish a "bookmarking" function or a list of useful website at Brillkids' forum. Maybe like "add download" function but for bookmarks, and also with rating function...

Does anybody support that, too?

I would like to know: how long is a DVD each? How many lessons a` 8 min. are in one DVD?

yes, that's also my question. It seems that lots of parents at this forum do homeschooling or choose Montessori school for their kids. But what happens if those choices is not available and the kid go to a normal school?

In Little Reader Lite I find that the flash takes longer time than it should take when the program has to load picture(s) . So the speed varies in a session if some words are with pictures (takes longer) and some words are without picture (flash very fast).

Now I have only LR Lite, but like to buy all of your products which includes Little Reader, Little Math, and Little Musician. The funny thing is I have not  much money and want to buy them also cheap .

So my question: Could you tell what the (planned) incentives are for buying all three products together (if L Musician comes out)? Will I able to buy Little Musician cheaper with certain amount of points? - I am thinking of wether waiting for Little Musician to buy all three together or buying your first two products with 15% discount immediately.

very interesting article. I do not read story to my child because she is always in the move, curious and busy with other things. But after reading the article I think I should find some way read stories to her, even she may not understand everything or not listen to the whole story.

I have recenty read about the products TweedleWink / Wink  from rightbrainkids and their way of teaching. They recommend to teach your child when they are sleepy and at an unconcious condition. That's completely different with what Glenn Doman recommends all the time: to teach your child when it is in a good mood and not sleepy. And both method actually want to train the right brain (as far I understood them).

Now I am totally confused.

I recently had the same question, then I read in the forum to get an answer for myself. I have read about the TweedleWink method, one flashcards lesson lasts 8 minites and it teach several topics languages, maths,... in a lesson. One lesson should be played 1-3 times. That means, our kids still can learn at those rate. What an astonishing amount and speed!
