Yes, from what I understand it is even less than the mini-pill. I'm also breastfeeding and didn't want to take the mini-pill. I put it off until DD was 4 months old and decided not to take anymore chances. They do put it in at the doctor. You can check with your insurance to see if it is covered. My insurance did not cover it (around $600) so I went to a womens clinic and had it put in there, by a doctor, for much less. It only takes 30 seconds or less to put in.

I'm also using the Mirena. I used it after my second child and went 5 years with no period. Then when I decided to go for child number 3 I pulled it out and was pregnant in 5 months. No problems or concerns. I decided after number 3 came along that I only wanted to use Mirena again. So nice, with no periods you forget it is even there. I've had no cramping or any other side effects. (wow, I think I can make a commercial!)

I have the book "how smart is your baby" and it is in the back of that. It is made out of 3/4" plywood covered with a 1" thick foam rubber, then covered with smooth, ungrained naugahyde. The track is 16" wide with a 6" high rail on each side. They have made it into three sections so it can surround the bed for sleeping at night. They also have a place you can buy the ASICS infant crawling track already made and have it shipped to you. Don't know the cost but they have a phone number. This again was in the back of the same book.

I love hearing about where we are headed as it is hard to imagine. I just started using Brillbaby a few weeks ago with my 8 month old DD. She seems to love it when at the computer but I can only imagine how much she is taking in and other ways to have fun and enhance the experience as she gets older. I love hearing about other ways to have fun with it. Thanks!

Hi KL,
Well.................it is when I am trying to upload (?) my Katie the Koala story onto BrillBaby. I exported it from my BrillBaby and was trying to upload it here to the little reader I wasn't able to, it seems to be timing out. I am in San Diego working on a high speed cable modem. I am not sure how to make my pictures smaller. I don't think I have a program to do that for me. I think if I right click on the picture I can resize it but not sure, last time I tried it didn't work for me. I'll give it a go again though. I think the story is 11,524 KB. (does that sound right?)
Thanks for all your help!
Koala girl

Hi, I am trying to download my koala story but am having problems. Can it be too big? It seems to be timing out when downloading. I get a page telling me I have a connection problem. But it just seems to be taking forever to download it. Can it be that the pictures I have are too big? Just wondering, I thought that the website was running slow because a lot of people were on last night but it does the same this morning. thanks, Koala girl
