If I were you, I would keep LR. Your little one might not like it now but she may love it later. My son used to refuse to watch LR. We had to stop for a month and then tried again. You can use LR without customization. I think it works perfectly well. Also, you can use Split Word feature to create your own phonic lessons.
I have been using LR since 2010. My son's out grown the curriculum but I still find LR useful. I am now using it to teach him Phonograms and spelling.
Oh, you can easily create homemade flashcards with LR with only a few clicks. The print feature allows you to print every single word and picture in LR curriculum. This would save you a lot of time when you want to create your own flashcards.
If you aren't good at keeping track (like myself
), you can use LR daily lessons as your guideline and flash the word and picture card (by hand) according to LR curriculum.
