I guess because the animals categories have the new animated videos . and those are big...right???

hello brill kids, I try to download  some translated categories  today,but I get the message that the files are too big.
it was common animals2 from version 3 . does this mean I am not going to be able to downloaded any translated version from the categories of version 3??

i was born in ecuador.but can to live to nyc at the age of 8 so My accent was influence a lot from the majority of latinos that live in nyc which are from dominican republic,puerto rico. so I guess you could said I have a mixture in my spanish accent. my girls also have that mixture.
Thats the challenge on translating the  currinculum to spanish that one word could have so many diff ways to said it, the spain way,the mexican way,ecuadorian way,peru,panama etc etc ect , I am not talking only accent. example for the word pig  i could say, puerco, chancho, cerdo,marrano, cochino ,guarro


do I make sense?

we deff have something in common , I also want to translate all the categories in spanish. I have 5 girls who like to volunteer  their voice  so hopefully i will be done soon. we will see.....

I really hope you translate the whole currinculum cause you are doing such a great job. your voice is clear.

great. I am currently updating my spanish phonic files to use the split-audio feature from version 3.
I will downloaded the ones that are ready which are the vocales(the vowels)
this is the way I remenber been taught to read spanish
and this is the order i will downloaded
1.the vowels (which are 5 diff playlist)
2. the sylab, ma, me, mi, mo, mu and words like Mama ,mia,mio, me mima. and the sentence mi mama me  mima.
3.pa, pe,pi, po, pu. papa,pipa,pie,pepe amo a mi papa.
 and so on. I use la pata pita(libro primero de lectura to guide me)

he likes kung-fu so i been working on a file the shows diff kung fu style.  he also like your cerrado,abierto file which was great.

yesterday i downloaded pocoyo esta saltando la comba(pocoyo is jumping rope) and today i downloaded pocoyo baila(pocoyo dance) both really cute videos. they havent been approved yet,
i have so much more which i will be downloaded in the coming weeks.

can I clone the lessons and then transalate with out affecting the original courses??
I try  to do it yesterday, I first clone semester 1 then I edit each word to spanish but when I check the original semester the words was also changing to spanish which i didnt want. I want the original to be english and the clone one spanish.
did I did something wrong? or this is not possible.

is there way for me to translate the currinculum and keep the original also?

I have read many times in this forum how some of you wish you had recorded some of your kids EL since the beginning.
I decided that i better get started. I am giving EL my 200% best effort. eventhough my 14 months old is not reading ,in my opinion he is very smart and loving EL.

also i would love to see more videos nomatter how small you thing the accompliments are. hey i got all excited when he finally knew where was he bellybutton. and he's getting better at putting the montessori cylinder  where it belongs

 i also recorded him  doing his little reader lessons but it came out way too dark,will try again .

A big Thank you to all of you. many times i feel discouraged an alone in my journey. And I guess many time  i get impatient.
Maybe one of the reason that Glenn doman said no testing is probably not just for the kids but also the parents . since we might get discouraged and quit to early.
I am going to keep it up , he loves his lessons and  i Love teaching him.  YOU guys are amazing thank you  .

I been showing my baby  little reader everysince he was 8 months . he havent show me any sign of reading. I have play word games with him to chose between two words but he get the wrong one. I think i am doing something wrong. 
I usually do english,spanish and chinese twice ( using little reader and using wink to learn for chinese). Last month   i was even show him ybcr dvd1 twice a day ,but  he get bored easily and will not want to watch it any more so I will stop showing him the dvd for weeks and start again but this time only once a day.

eventhough he havent learn to read ,he have learn his body parts, and animals names .
should  I stop everything and try to do glenn doman methods
please help.I really want my baby to learn to read early because i seen how my others kids have struggle with reading.
