I have started LR and my son who is around the same age (6.5 mths) loves it. Its not too long like YBCR which he gets bored with. I plan to start LM at some later stage, maybe when he is 12 mths. I don't think you need to do everything right away but just my thoughts. Good luck and have fun!

Hi All, Im in Australia and wondering what products people have used for sign language. I have seen 2 websites babysignsaustralia.com.au and australianbabyhands.com.au and was wondering if anyone has any comments on either. I looked into signingtimes but postage to Australia was enormous, almost the same cost as the product. Many Thanks Amelia

Hi all, I started my 6 mth old boy on YBCR a week ago. It is recommended that it be shown twice a day however I really struggle to get him to sit still for 3 minutes to watch it. We have tried dimming the room, removing distractions but he just doesn't really seem interested, only when the songs come on!! I have got to the stage that I get him to watch it for about 5 mins while he is in his high chair but he seems to get bored with it and is always looking around. Has anyone else had this issue? Should I put it away for now and try again in a few months. He is already crawling and is much more intersted in moving around than watching a DVD. Any tips would be great! Thanks, Amelia

Thanks so much for the feedback, its good to know as I ordered Monkisee adn YBCR yesterday! I saw a clip of Monkisee on youtube and my little boy loved it, I cant get the song out of my head! It looks to me like people use different programs so I thought I would start with those 2 and LR. Hope that will be ok, we started LR yesterday but he is an active boy so it was hard to keep him still for the whole thing! Cant wait to get started on Monkisee! Thanks again for all the advice, its all much appreaciated! Amelia

Wow, you do alot! I've just started looking into what to start with. I saw YBCR and thought I would see what else was out there and now I am so overwhelmed. I am trialling the LR program and plan to purchase that, would you have any other suggestions as to what to start with? Should I just focus on reading? I also like the look of Monkisee as my son loves music. Have you heard much about that? I'm a SAHM, planned to go back to work around now but love being a mum so much Ive decided to stay at home. Im also a life coach and personal trainer so can do some work from home in the future when I decide I would like to. How about you?
