My husband had to hold our son in the bathroom while I would take a quick shower while looking and talking to him.  Someone at my husband's job gave us the advice if he was fed and his diaper was clean its ok to let him cry while I take care of myself.  I never agreed with that. Hearing him cry would break my heart.  Now that he is a little older he amuses himself with certain toys.

I loooooove Egypt.  I haven't been there in some years but I look forward to taking my son when he is older. 
How is your older daughter taking to the programs here?  My son is six months and he loves learning with them.

My six month old son has recently only been able to take naps if I am near him.  He continues to sleep through the night on his own.

I want to homeschool my son, but I am having trouble convincing my husband and my parents.  I understand they want him to interact with other children but I do plan on enrolling him in physical and musical activities where he would be learning with a group of children.

My son's doctor told us that the best thing to do is to hold your baby in an upright position until their hiccups go away on their own.

My baby is six and a half moths old and he moves backwardys in front  and sideways on his tummy.  When I put his toys in front of him he pulls the blanket they are on closer to him. 

My first born son was born on August 15, 2010.  Everyday I fall in love with him more and more.  I am so excited with the BrillKids products he pays close attention with the biggest smile on his face.

Does anyone have any thoughts on DHA Omega 3 intake during your pregnancy and while breastfeeding?
I took prenatal vitamins that included DHA and as I am breastfeeding I am still taking the vitamins along with DHA supplements. I have read a study claiming that there are no known benefits of taking DHA.  I am just curious about how other people feel about this. 

I had an emergency c-section so I had to wait a little less than 1 hour to hold my son for the first time.  He did latch on almost immediately and six months later it is still his first choice.  The physical recovery from the c-section was diffcult for me so I did attempt to give him formula from time to time but he soon recognized the difference and began refusing all bottles even the ones with pumped breastmilk.

My family is new to BrillKids and so far our six month old son loves the math program.
I am looking forward to having him start the reader program.
