Thanks Linzy, I didn't know that.  I just uploaded some files for the first time but it has not been approved yet. 

I was also thinking in response to saniso with the points system.

How about the more people that downloads your file the more points you get.  Which will encourage people to make good files.  Lets say for example every person that downloads your file or everytime your file gets downloaded you earn 20 points. 

This is just a thought but it will sure help with getting more points to buy LR and LM.

This is working perfectly.  I will upload the powerpoints for everyone to download when I am done. So excited.  I learned something new today!  Yah!!!

I am finished with my powerpoint sides and could not figure out where I can download sounds for the pictures and words.  Do I have to reocrd myself speaking, save, and then add to powerpoint?  Or is there a site or program out there where I can get the sounds for each word?

I am trying to earn enough points to buy LR and LM.  It's going to take me forever.  Hopefully in time I will earn enough points. 

Anyone have an suggestions what I should do in the mean time?

I am currently using flashcards using Doman Method and showing some powerpoint slides I download from here.

My child is only 9 months old.  I have heard the same comments from moms in my mommy group.  They said that their older children were bored after attending public school.  Their child were too adavnce and lost all interest in learning.  This then cause them to fail not because they weren't smart but just plain didn't want to do the work because it was too easy.  I myself is afraid this might happen to my own child.

Thank you all for your responses.  I guess I just have to be patient and wait for that special day until he shows me he understands.  I am starting to use the powerpoint slides that I downloaded from this site with pictures and words.  I am so excited.    I hope this all pays off in the end that he is learning and having fun at the same time.

I have been using flashcards with my son who is 9 months old now for two months.  He just turned nine months old.  I am not sure if he knows the words on the flashcards.  How can I tell if he is unable to say the words for choose from two cards the correct word.  I know that GD method said not to test the child ever, but I am so curious if it is even working with him. 

Married at 26.  Had my son at 27, one month away from turning 28.  My son just turned 9 months old a couple days ago.  I think you can still have another child.  Yes, like the others said there are ricks involved.  A sibling would be great.  Good Luck!
