I don't know where people stand on this but it's good to get information from other sources than the main stream fear pushing media, at least that's what I think. For the most part lately the media is just wanting to insite fear into the American public.

I have not yet to use this site but it sounds great in helping to organize favorite saved topics, and also if you are a visual person this would work great. I have a million saved favorites and can't always remember which is what so if I saw a picture that would help to jog my memory. Oh and the kids would love it since my four year old can log on and goes to her game sites with this she would be able to go to more. http://www.evernote.com/Let me know how it works. I am just a little slow to get to everything but intend to try this web site. Enjoy

Parents' Lounge / General Parenting / STOP WHINING
|

I've read a couple of books and watched DVD's and took Love and Logic class but, nothing is working. I understand that I may be the one at fault with not enacting the behavior steps correctly or strictly or ......so I am asking for advice.
My 4yr daughter is whining over everything. When the focus is taking off her because God forbid her little two yr. old brother needs something she starts the whining and doesn't stop. I've tried speaking to her logically, reasoning, giving in, sending to room but it has not stopped. How much whining can a mom take in one day?

Reply to Karma, Thanks for the info on the 25 % off. I am still SO new at this blogging and really don't do it that much. Would it take me a long time to get 2500 pts? I am still trying to figure things out. Thanks Ana3

Hi, I am new to the site and this is only post #3, I am also new at the Forum never done one before. My question is how does one enter these contests? What tab do I go to to find various contests? Oh and if anyone could tell me how do I load a picture to my profile? So many members have these adorable pictures I would like to attempt to load one of mine?
Thanks Ana

Okay I want to reply to all respondents but am not sure if this is the case. Still getting use to this forum stuff. Thank you for the low down on LM I will budget for the LM considering it is a $100. Some one asked if the the reading is working for my children and yes, more so with my 4 yr old daughter my 2yr old son but he is catching on. I just made my own cards and ended up picking some up at the dollar store. I mostly do it while they are in the bath tub, or at "chase me time", I flash a word like jump and we jump and chase, it works. Thank you and please keep me up to date on your progress with LM.

Hi, I am new to the sight and this is my first post. I am looking to see if anyone has used Glenn Doman's, Teaching your baby Math KIT vs and or LM? I am looking to purchase a math kit for my 2 and 4 year old. I've read Doman's books and use my make shift, Teach your Baby to read KIT, so I believe in his work. But I would like to hear from others and their experiences with any math kit. Thanks Ana
