I hadn't thought about oragami, which I love! I usually get one of those oragami calendars after they go on sale after Christmas. Likewise I've gotten Tangram calendars in the past. Might be a fun daily activity to stockpile until my baby gets a little older and some hand dexterity.
I've some books on art that remind me of one of your links, Lee Ames, Lee Hammond, Jack Hamm, Steve Beaumont, and Doug DuBosque. (Lots of "Lee"s and "Hamms"s in art, I guess!)
Karma to you!

I've read a bit on how music can help develop spatial skills. I've wondered what else can be done art-wise to help kids draw what they see as well as draw what they dream up. Drawing on the Right side of the Brain has helped me, but in learning about right brain learning, I imagine there must be something to help develop this more before the shift to left brain happens.

Chris,
I was looking on the piano wizard site, but couldn't find the computer requirements for the best functioning of PW. I would like to use a laptop for space reasons, but I want to make sure mine isn't too outdated.
Nevermind--I just found it: Question: Minimum suggested hardware requirments
Resolution: Windows 98 SE/ ME / 2000 / XP 733+ MHz processor, 32 Meg video card 100 Mb of Free Hard Drive Space MIDI cable, MIDI keyboard and appropriate system drivers Internet access to register/update game and download MIDI songs (Note: Hardware requirements may vary with manufacturer)

I've been reading about the 8 different types of intellegence, and noticed a majority are not typical "right-brain" activities. While I love the idea of Tweedlewink, but until I can afford it, we've been playing with music on the piano, Trebellina, YBCR, flashcards, doman dots, & sign language.
Also I wanted to see what right-brain activites were more hands-on rather than just watching something passively.

After reading your post i visited Tdp's website .... and order a Free Presentation... a lady came at my place and give me the so called "Presentation" (She was reading from a book and exactly all the matter is printed on there website) .... when she quote the price i was shocked REALLYYYYY Total Development Program (Complete Set): 249,480 Rs. (Pakistani Rupees) English (Skills): 61, 750 Rs. (Pakistani Rupees) Knowledge: 61,740 Rs. (Pakistani Rupees) Values: 32,900 Rs. (Pakistani Rupees) Skills (Early Learning): 32,900 Rs. (Pakistani Rupees) Maths: 32,900 Rs. (Pakistani Rupees) Umm e Hashim So that would make it only $2,894.17 US. I still think I could buy more "content" buy using the same money to buy a variety of things mentioned on these forums.

I think what Khush has quoted 6000 INR to be monthly payment. The lady to whom I spoke told that it costs 5000 INR as EMI for 36 months (the complete package). They have EMIs for each of the kits as well.
So if I'm getting that right, it's about $131.36 a month for 3 years, so $4728.96? Yikes! I think I could buy every other program out there for that price!
