Any home educating is homeschooling to me. I hope that they add more to their site for older kids. My kids love this. I even have the workbooks printed out in a big binder. I am going to create paper games to and crafts to go along with this site in the near future. Thanks everyone.

Thanks for the link Daddude. Well the verison of the Bible it up to the parents, there are many version, names, religions that have their own Bible so that is up to the individual but I can tell you that we use the KJV, but the kids versions of this has been out of print, however, there are the NKJV that has a great Bible for kids, teens, and pre-adults that targets just that age. There is also a book published that I got from Dollar General store about the Bible. It has tons of great resources and great content about what is in the Bible. As far as reading the Bible, we just read the scriptures then we read a story to go with the scriptures, or also we have purchased Nest Entertainment curricula on video on the entire Bible for Kids thats ia animated but looks like real life. My 4 and 3 year olds understand the basic details of the content just fine by just reading the scriptures and then telling a story. We use tons of free resources as well like www.dtlk.com/bible and daneillesplace.com and many others. If you think that just reading the Bible to your children is a waste of time, it isn't. It does pay off. I have a few children at 7 can recite and tell you what the scriptures mean in paraphrase and tell you where they are located in the Bible, and show you. However, i do have some that doesn't do that well so I use worksheets and visuals to reinforce the story, show a video, etc. to help that child understand. Using visuals, posters, story cards, videos, flannel boards, etc. does tremendous. We even use flashcards for 6 months old of the Bible characters. A good curriculum that I use is www.hubbardscupboard.org and I have created curriculum in another post free to download, and there is another post with Bible resources from many members.

For those that are interested in sample curricula here is a piece of a sample to download, however you need the AZZ cardfile program that is free to open it. If you like any of it please leave a reply. I am trying to get an entire year of each grade level, however, remember that when we create these it is based on a certain child's ability and may not be what you are looking for or need or based on the correct state standards, but anyway here is a piece of a sample for 2 year olds.

This link is just a resource for those who may be reading to their children. We too use several curriculum resources for others or us to modify or fit into their ideal preception or believe and or educational level. However, I will say that that I have 7 year olds who understands and reads the Bible and understand the Bible maybe not Bible history or the actually original vocabulary but the actual content better than most adults that I have had the pleasure to meet. If they don't know a word they look it up in a Bible dictionary or I teach them a synonym to the vocabulary, after all my main goal is modifying the content for the child. I leave the heavy stuff for the older kids (teens) as you mentioned, however, I am going to leave this discussion alone......... I am glad for the honest replies regarding this link.

The AZZ cardfile has to be opened with the free download of the AZZ cardfile system via online.
I will post more for everyone as requested. I have tons of resources and plans (scopes and sequences) but basically I developed these for individual children's needs, so they may not fit into your needs or curricula views. We offer a wide range of content so that the child's interests and or weaknesses can be addressed. I will do my best to upload more samples as time goes on. They may or may not be the content for a specific grade level but the level of the child's ability and it may be a mix of grade levels, however, I do hope in the future to start creating a basic standard curriculum samples for each grade level. For example one child may be at 3rd grade reading level but 1st grade math level, etc. so I create curricula based on the levels of the child. The child according to age needs to be in the 3rd grade so in the program I will include everything that the child needs to get caught up according to our state standards to reach the expected goals of a 3rd grader.
We have toddler to 12th grade samples availalbe in different formats, like AZZ card file. We find that this program is the easiest to operate. If you are having trouble then visit the website for the AZZ cardfile program, there is a help page on there.
I have uploaded one for 3rd grade however, it was based on the child's needs. Thanks everyone.
If you know your child's levels and wish a sample curricula say like; LA-1st, Math-2nd, Science-4th and the grade that their age states that should be in or is in then I can create a sample from that for you, or if you wish a basic sample of a certain grade as you stated below then I can do that as well.
We have just now intergrated LR to the program as well for many grade levels.

Even though it is 20.00 a month it looks great and it has K-12 grades, a complete curriucula with planner and schedule, so try the 7 day trial and see what u think? I ma doing that now. I hope to use this with my co-op this year. http://www.hlnfamily.com Has anyone else tried this before? If so let me know how that it worked out for you. It kind of reminds me of lessonpathways which we love and everythingforhomeschooling as well. If you have multiple children or a co-op then it would be perfect, even if some of us went into together to pay the year subscription and used the login info it would be worth it, and just remember to save everything on an external hard drive or flash drive to keep for future use.

I plan on using this to teach spanish to my highschoolers as well. it seems to fit right in with our curricula.
