Thanks a lot. The three links are excellent. I had a pshycology teacher at high school that mentioned that when you repeat the words many times they stay very easily in your brain. Here they do that but with music and a lot of rythm. The music and images on the kid2020 dolch words DVD are very nice.
Even in the math product they seem to have done a very goog work to keep childrens attention. Tell me if you get the math product how did it went.

I have a similar situation but his interest is in animals and not cars.
Almost at 18 month old we got Old Macdonald DVD from Kissongs and from there on everything for him is EIEIO.

I don't know if this is an issue but I am worried because my grandson dies for animals and books but even though he has cars he pay no attention to them. All he wants to know is the name of the animals in spanish and english and get books on animals.  I this ok or I have to insist so that he plays with other things. When my sons were small I worked and didn't have time to observe this.

 I want to spend morre time teaching him all i can now because i am afraid that in a few months or years he will loose interest in learning.
The issue here is that we allways heard that all extremes are not good and if he onlly wants animal or car topics and nothing else we have to try to make it nice for him and play with other things.

NidaZafar, is he absorbed only with car toys or also books on cars and so on. Maybe if you start with books on cars then you can go to other books to capture his interest.
If you get good results try afterwards this books:

and

I read abd know by experience that children do not pay attention for a long period of time and that is why the reading or math flashcardas has to be passed very fast.
Is there any statistics on how many minutes will children get focus on a subject before getting distracted in relation to the age and maybe gender (boy or girl) ?

Children at an early age do not concentrate on one thing for too long. My 2 yr old grandson swiches from one game to another very fast. I think he does not resist more than 5 minutes.
At what age do you recomend to start considering that you are paying monthly?

Nevertheless as Ana3 says how can we organize all that. I try to copy all the interesting places on a document but not sure if I will have enough time to look into all that.

pidong thanks a lot. Your comments give me great relief since I was afraid that I was pushing too much for my grandson to learn languages. So far he is just starting. We are peruvians so everybody speaks spanish but I speak and read a lot (every time he visits almost 3 times a week) to him in english. Al preschool he is the only one that says the animals in english since next year (3 yr) they will start talking them in english.

My daughter reads to him Winni Pooh in french and everytime he sees her (unfortunately not too often) he asks for that.

He likes an italian book about animals that comes with CD (i dont speak italian).

I am plannig on getting some chinese DVD and was afraid ir was too much but you help me a lot. I am convinced that even though he ios taking longer time to speak, he is learning all the languages.

I have to make my son read this review. He is somewhat afraid that it will not work.

Una recomendación es que tengan en cuenta al traducir LR o LM al español que la vocalización y palabras de Espana son diferentes de las de latino america. Esto lo pueden notar en el producto Rosetta Language que contempla ambas versiones.

I recently started Encyclopedic Bits with my 26 month old grandson. He runs to see the figures when I mention it. At the end he claps and wants to play music on the piano. (really only pressing some notes).

Music:
I bought DVD Introducion Trebellina but have to pick it in the USA. When we start it I will post comments.

Reading:
Planning to start YBCR or LR (not decided) in english even though spanish is our first language (we are Peruvians). That way he willl learn English and reading at the same. Now he refers to the animals in english because of all the books. And he sings Goodnight moon also in english.
Afterwards I will look for products to teach him Chinese or French.
