http://www.thredup.com/ offers gently used kids clothing. I like that site because it lets you "recycle" your own kids' outgrown items, and get great finds at low prices from other parents. The frugal shopper in me is *so* happy.
Thanks very much for the review! The signing and singing are what my daughter loves best, and it sounds like we'll stick with the other series for now.
I wonder if you're able to give this review to the Two Little Hands company? It would be a shame for them to bring out more products like this one under that label if they are so far off of what most ST fans will be expecting.
Have you ordered or watched this? My daughter loved the Baby Signing Time and Signing Time series...they've helped her immensely. She has Down syndrome, and *loves* music. Those series really caught her interest and at 3yrs old she knew over 200-250 signs (more that we did! :-)
She's five now, and I would love to broaden her learning experiences with this new Treeschoolers series, if they have a similar appeal as the other series did.
I'm mom to an awesome 5yr old girl, Myrdin, who has Down syndrome. I found this site/forum via a blog post that came from a local Down syndrome homeschooling email group I am part of.
I'm looking for effective and efficient ways to help my daughter learn reading and math, and am excited to try out alot of what's offered here to see if it meshes well with her learning style.
I live in the Akron, OH area with my husband, who was recently medically retired from the Marine Corps. We had some great experiences while he was active duty, and we're enjoying settling back into civilian life. :-)
