EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child - Signing, Speaking, Languages / Re: Advice needed for teaching toddler French

We spoke to our daughter mostly Russian until she was about 24 months old. She watched LR, and lots of educational programs in English, but never used any words. Then, I decided, I'm wasting valuable time. And we started speaking English at home for several hours a day. Please, understand, our English is far from perfect, and I'm very concerned that she'll learn bad pronunciation, but I want her to know English. It was hard for her the first week and if I saw that she does not understand, I tried to show her, what I'm saying, and if it did not work, I had to translate. In 1 or 2 weeks she started to speak English phrases. I'm very happy with that! If someone can speak foreign language to a child, do not loose your time! Children pick it up so easily, I wish I had such an opportunity when I was a child. Some cartoons and songs in French during the week will help, but her Grandmother speaking French to her, is thousand times more important than any educational software. It's best to start speaking as with a new born child, pointing to things and naming them, and the child will more likely answer in English, but soon she'll pick it up. Sooner than you can imagine. It's a game for the kids, but a very difficult subject for adults. Do not hesitate!!!!

BrillKids Software / Tech Support / Shichida 65 days with new Little Math version

I was using Shichida 65 days program on older Little Math version. After the recent update it does not work. When I try to install the files again it only gives me an error message. Has anyone else tried to use Shichida 65 with new LM and have you had any success? I really miss this program, because regular curriculum is to long and boring for my child. I skip several days, show only equations, not reviews and number dots, but still, we had more success with Shichida method

Thanks for sharing the link/ It's really helpful. I still have a question. In cycle 2 we repeat days 10-54 EXACTLY as they are in cycle 1? Or do we make the lessons following the lessons in cycle 1, but using numbers from 50 to 100? It sounds confusing, but I truly don't understand why we teach numbers 50-100 in Cycle 2, but show addition, subtraction etc. using numbers 1-50

My girl is 26 month now, and we are still breastfeeding. It doesn't hurt, but gets annoying sometimes. She is very strong and healthy, very rarely gets sick, in the past year she's been sick only once and a few times she had runny nose, when her teeth were coming. I never used pump, and I strongly believe in milk production regulation by demand (bachelor in economics ) The more you pump, the more milk you'll have. I got a pump as a gift, but that thing looked repulsive to me.

I read the forum and I understood the main concepts that there are 2 cycles - 65 days each, which should be repeated twice. I downloaded presets by Agnesdecham. However, I in cycle 2 presets are from day 1 to 9 and 55-58. Does anyone know where to find days 10-54 in cycle 2?
and how do I test my child in days 59-65? is it necessary? can I skip the testing?
