I don't think you can go past a chi latte.  my wife make the best one at home.  the secret is to dissolve the chi powder in a few tablespoons of hot water first, them add them freshly steamed milk ( or she warms the milk in the microwave the shakes it in a jar to make it frothy) - either way, yum

We find a weekly meal planner great.  This way we don't purchase items we are not going to eat.  Plan to make enough so we can have it a second night (also great for when you don't feel like cooking) and also we make sure we plan in the any leftovers.  this way we are not throwing out and wasting food.  Its also a good idea to go through all of your cupboards and use what you have in them.  Its amazing what you have hidden at the back and even more amazing what you can make with it.

Yes, reading to him is great.  i think my mother will be in the same boat.  She loves reading all of those womens magazines.  Even now although he is only 7.5 months old, he loves looking at all of the bright coloured pictures and ads when nanna has him on her lap.  the only problem she has is that he wants to eat the magazine alot of the time.  Even if you point to the pictures and make up your own stories.  My niece seems to like that and she is about 4.  Just spend some loving quality time with him, thats the

I was 37 and my wife was 34.  Believe it or not, in a few days time we will have been seeing each other for 20 years and married for 4 years.  It took us a long time to go down the kid path, and even when we got pregnant we still weren't 100% sure it was what we wanted.  Now the little one is here, we wouldn't have it any other way.  Many people ask us if we wished we had of done it sooner, but this was the right time.  We are settled in our jobs and home life and can give the little one what we want.

Our dog was 7.5 years old when we bought our little one home. Before teh new baby, the dog was our baby, We tried to keep things as normal as possible for our dog so as not to make him feel left out. Our little one is now 7 months old, and our dog sits in the bedroom doorway during the day and is quite happy to be around the little one.  Whenever the bub sees the dog he gives a big smile and always wants to touch him.  The only problem we have is that the dog likes getting his bottom rubbed, but little hands seem to want to go to the smelly section of the dog.  We also let the dog sniff the bub often, and if I'm going to bath the baby, I'll let the dog lick him gently on the legs or arms.  In saying all this, even though the 2 seem like good friends, I would still never leave them alone together.
