Oh Kezia..I think I've screwed up something? I was all well until yesterday when I received the email about LR version 2.0 I clicked on the link to Account Management and hit activate again. Turned out it's the old version. So I downloaded the version 2.0 file right after so now the LR is good. But I think I must have activated the lifetime LR key that you mentioned in the last email....that is supposed to be my 2nd install, right? Does that mean I lost it? Can u reinstate it? Sorry for all the trouble.

Oh..does that mean after I bot the deluxe kit, I have only used one download (which is already in my laptop) and thus I still haven't activated the other one? If I do not activate this new key, is there an expiry date? Thanks a lot again!

EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child - Other Topics / ChoiceBoard Maker (iPad app) - to see if your baby can read

Hi all, My nephew has created an app for my son (who is disabled) so he can improve on his choice-making skills using iPad. It is released just a few days ago and receive some great review. It allows you to create customized choice boards for various activities. My son can recognize some words, but when I want to show him those choices, I don't often have them handy, and I have to print it out in card boards. Now, I just need to use this app and present him with the words, and if he choose the correct one, he will get an applause! I also use Doodle Buddy together with this because it allows me to type text and save it into image files on iPad. So please go and download them and let me know how you like them! http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/choiceboard-maker/id414362446?mt=8

BrillKids Software / Little Reader - General Discussion / Re: Using flash cards - help needed
|

I would like to know if apart from showing the brill kids software we are required to show flash cards. I find many moms showing flash cards to check understanding of children. will children never use to seeing a flash card react differently to Flash cards. what advantages would showing flash cards have. Will their learning be different. Would appreciate if you can help me
Check out this new app called ChoiceBoard Maker on iPad. My nephew created it for my son who is disabled. It allows you to create your own customized choice boards, so you can use this tool to check their word recognition easily. Oh, in order to present the choices, they have to be an image file. So I use Doodle Buddy (another cool app) to type text, zoom to appropriate size, choose the color of the font (i prefer red) and save it in the image library. Then, set it up on ChoiceBoard Maker using those words. It took less than a minute to set up a set of 10 words. And it will applaud if your kids point at the right answer. What's more, it's free! Have fun!

Hi Hi, Our family will be relocation to Hong Kong in February. The PC that we downloaded LR and LM will be sold. What steps do I need to take in order to uninstall LR from this PC, and keep my license to install in another new computer when I relocate to Hong Kong? (I have installed LR in another laptop as well, which I will be bringing to HK)
Please advise.
