Hi! So glad to hear from you. I wanted to get my daughter more involve with little reader. she refuses to sit there and do the classes with me,,,  but i thought may be if we can do play dates she might be more interested in doing the lessons. since you live in Worcester and that is a bit of a hike during the week... may be we can meet on weekends! what do you think? I am a sinlge mom... and sometimes is hard to schedule things on the weekends, you know?

i like your post. some times as parents we want nothing but the very best for our children and we worry about every thing we want to teach their brains that we forget all about the heart. we need to enrich the brain as well as the heart and we need to teach them about both. we need to help them grow and teach them with sensibility.

i really think that what you are talking about here is also called emotional IQ. I hope you post again.
