Ecco gli italiani!!:-) Io sono americano, ma sto cercando ad insegnare il mio bambino leggere inglese con BrillKids. Mi piace cosi' tanto che ho cercato un po ed ho trovato che c'e' anche i Rosetta Stone programmi, per gli adulti imparare le lingue. Non e' esattamente lo stesso di BrillKids, ma un papa' conosciente mi ha detto che sono paragonabile - cosi voglio imparare a parlare spagnolo mentre insegno al piccolo di leggere inglese!:-)

Ma, ci sono tanti papa' italiani che cercano a proprio insegnare ai bambini di leggere? Sono specialmente gli italiani che mi dicono che io sia un pazzo, che e' lavoro dei mama' o dei insegnante. Non capitemi male - sono papa' bravi: giocano con i bambini, li proteggiano, etc. Ma insegnare a leggere? Mi prendono in giro!

I'm so glad to hear somebody else say it, Lawrence! And, not only that men can, but that they SHOULD be doing it!! It is so crazy to me how often people act incredulous or shocked to see me, a man, interested in learning about how babies and toddlers learn! Fathers especially treat me like a fool because of it - power to men teaching!:-)

Wow, KL, it absolutely was Baby Felicity!:-) So, are you the father? That video was basically my introduction to Brill Kids, so I'm pretty excited to be joining the site now.

And, having been able to just start looking around, and seeing your responses here, all is seeming wonderful.

EXCEPT for the entire experience of signing up for and using the web site!! I had some problem that after I signed in and made this post I think COULDN'T sign in immediately after, I got a CREEPY email saying they happened to be looking the database and they "noticed" that my password had been reset by mistake......all seemed a bit strange.

Hopefully that was just roadbumps at the beginning though, because other than that weird experience I am pretty excited:-)

I first found Brill Kids through a youtube video of a very little baby girl reading quite well. I was impressed, looked into it, and here I am! Can't wait to learn more, and especially to learn to teach better!:-)
