KL, I tried your suggestion and found that I was able to import two categories at a time, not more than that. If I did select more than two, only two would get imported and the rest I had to import manually.

Anyway, it took a little time, but I imported all of them manually. Once LR is open, selecting the required .cat or .pl file and clicking open imports it straight into LR which is great! I found this to be a lot easier than importing the files from within LR which is what I was doing earlier.

I guess it would be nice if this feature could be included in the next version! It would save content-makers a LOT of time and effort!

It would also be of great help if the next version of LR supported import/export of multiple cat and pl files.

Perhaps you could add these to your 'future improvements' list?

I would first like to congratulate the Brill Team on the success of the latest release of LR. It is a truly wonderful product and a great help to those of us that are really keen to give our kids the best start possible!

I have a seven month old baby girl with a very short attention span. I have not followed any particular curriculum thus far. I have a question about LR's learning system and the best way to go through it:

On a given day, in a single sitting, am I supposed to show her all the Session 1 lessons? Or can I show her Session1-A, Session1-B and Session1-C (and Session2-A, ...) at different sittings (as long as the sittings are 1/2 hr apart)? So if I cover both Sessions 1 and 2 in a single day, I will effectively have done 6 sittings. I am asking because a single Session seems to have way too much information to show in 1 go. I wonder if shorter lessons will be better and more fun for my little one?

I am trying to create a 'US state maps' category. Each map occupies around 90% of the image. The rest of the image has a white background. When I play the category, LR seems to add a default black background around the image to fill the screen. Is there any way of setting the default background on images?

I have a question regarding this:

"Remove one word from each set that has already been taught for 5 days and replace the word with a new one in each set. (it is good to write a date when you added the word so you know well which is the oldest one to retire)."

What do I do when there are no more cards to add in a given set? If I added the last new card today and retired the oldest card, what should I do tomorrow when I don't have any new card to add? Do I just continue retiring old cards until there are no more cards to show. This way I will have just 4 cards in this set to show tomorrow, 3 the day after and so on. Or am I missing something very trivial?
