I just redecorated DD's room so you're in luck! .

I created a few sticker prints from Shutterfly and also saw their Wall Art options and printed a few of those. This way you can make your own prints (I know I'm too picky to ever find anything I like  ) 

Other than that we tried to include a lot of things that were intellectually stimulating, but fun too. She has a chalkboard wall so she can draw, a bookshelf we painted together, and a few play instruments.

Well I'm TTC because we only have our DD, and we would really like her to have at least one sibling. I initially wanted at least 3 kids, but I don't want them to be too far away in age. We'll see after DC 2 comes along if we get around to having another.

I think pets are a great way to teach responsibility, but you should be prepared to take care of whatever animal you buy 100%. It's really probably going to end up being YOUR pet that your kid will play with :P. I would recommend a gentle breed of dog for a young child. Smaller animals can be more finicky and fragile. A big, goofy dog will be able to take anything your child will be able to dish out and will love him or her for it

We had a black lab for a few years before DD was born and the two of them are totally in love. He has treated her like his own baby since she was able to play him. He loves to sleep in her bed and cuddle too

Thanks. I guess ultimately depends on individual child's character and development.  

This is definitely true. There isn't on clear answer, but I lean toward the first option. I don't when people say that young children can't understand why things are happening. Young children deserve much more credit then we give them.

Hey everyone! I've been lurking for a little while and decided to give this a go! I've been looking for a forum to join lately and here;s hoping yours is a good fit!

I'm a WAHM (photography and a little virtual assistant work) to my DD who is 3 now. We live in Brooklyn, NYC where the hubby works in finance. DH and I are currently TTC because we want DD to have a sibling who is remotely close to her in age (here's hoping I get preggers soon :P).
