Thank you Kezia I bought the Little Musician yesterday ( 99 dollars) and sadly i was not able to apply the coupon despite I redeemed it for the musician one. I feel sad about it as considering it a bit of a gimmick. Well, i learn too :-) in the process.Thank you for your reply. Martina

Hi there, interesting discussion. My looked man is only 22 months and, thank goodness, is still being able to be managed by distraction. But I talk.enthisuastically about how much fun we are going to have during the task I want him to.d and when.it finally gets to.it, it happens naturally.

Hello Ladies,
i was wondering whether there are any free web pages that are suitsable for 2 year olds ( just turn)? like the above colouring pages, but some that would be not printable but coloured in by the mouse of the PC. Also, could anybody advise on when there dear little child started to use a mouse on the PC ( so i would be not pushing my LO prematurely to work on "mouse skills" while clearly not achievable fine motor ability. Thank you in advance for your replys

Hi there, can you please also explain the points redemption system? it seems that 5000 points gives you 25% off the main products, but i am not sure if for example 10 000 points will give you a bigger discount. Please explain. thank you Martina

Hello there, my 12 months old just started nursery and i am looking to boost what ever i can in him ( health, education, language, motor skills....you name it). Just finished formula and nicely weened on cows milk. Has a good diet, started to refuse water during the day, has 420 ml of milk /24 h only...
He has been on fish oil ( dha+ D3) sice 6 months old and now i added multivitamins and probiotics powder ( 7 strains of bifi+acido) to boost his immune system as i read that i can reduce the rate of colds and GI upsetts...nursery!!! I try to give choline from feeding him soups of broccoli and califlower.
I want to also boost his brain and some forums suggest intake of dha, uridine and choline...but for adults. I was windering what else can i give him to maxize his potential?
Thank you ladies, Martina

EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child Math / Re: Question about math facts

That is an excellent approach which I will try to replicate when the time comes ( 8months old at the moment). Thank you for sharing! I am trying to teach math facts to my son too. I've used the 100 board to teach my son simple math facts, base 10, skip counting, and numeral order This is the board we have used. When we first started, I only used 1-30 chart and later worked my way up to 1-50. It was easy, just let your child match the number tiles with the numbers on the board. When he is getting better, remove all the numbers from the board. Ask your child to build his own "number board' using the blank grid chart. A child who has worked with the board for a while will know exactly where each number is. For example, if there is number 5 on the board, my son will know that 15 is below 5 because 15 is 10 more than 5. 6 is on the right because it is 1 more, and 4 is on the left because it's 1 less than 5. I also use the arrow to teach number order too. The arrow is showing the number direction. " --->" means 1 more or move one box to the right. "<---" means 1 box to the left, and it's 1 less. Arrow up means 10 less, and arrow down means 10 more. 2 arrows represent 2 boxes, and etc. Supposedly, we are doing +2 and -2. My son holds the board in his hand, looks at the equation, and use the board to find the answer. To me, this is better than memorizing math facts because he visualizes the board in his head and understand number orders. I am hoping to take a way the number board and just let him give me the answers from memory.
