my son is now 28 months.he loves to bang his head to the wall, floor or any hard surface if his wish is not fulfilled. he would also pinch, or spit on us (parent).it's really have bad impact on us, v r feeling stressed over his behavior.what should v do, not all the time can make him happy.v tried even to switch to any other topic and make him forget of what he is wanting for but all the efforts is just helpless.

hi everybody, i was surprised that so many of you gave respond to my post....and im extremely sorry for unable to reply to you all....i dont have internet connection at home and at office i have to take turn to use the computer(internet)...
as some of u suggested to buy LM and LR-it looks like a good suggestion but the price is Lifetime Plan Value Bundle is $ USD 720.00 right?that is my salary in my country....i dont think i can afford to buy LR n LM.
i regret for not knowing this product when i was pregnant, if not i would have saved some money to buy LR
by now if i start to save i will take me one year i guess...sigh....

One more thing, life comes in the way sometimes, so don't stress about it. I wanted to do this everyday religiously, but there are things that happen in life that you need to take care off. So I try to be consistented, but if one day I only have time to do the first part of the course, I don't kill mylsef over it, I just do the other half the next day. We had to take a break from math flash cards for two weeks (becuase my daughter wasn;t into it) it was ok, was we started again she was totally into it.

and i think i will try to follow Twinergy's advice on getting books with large font which is the most enjoyable and easiest way to teach kids...
linzy, i son doesn't like to be disturbed when he's going for toilet, i tried to show him flash card during that time, but it's like he cant concentrate on his toilet business u know, i leave these method, same goes when he's eating or bathing, it;s like he doesn't wan to be disturbed and like to enjoy the moment i think

floong, i put my son on the baby court and showed to him the card in a flash....but nowadays he cries when i put him in the baby court....indication of not interested in the cards i think...
momtomany, i did set a very small goal indeed as i know i would not b able to show 3 set per day...but even that 1 set is disappointing with so many obstacles...

Autumn, izit okay to give the marker to toddler to scribble on the dry erase board...?i'm scared the smell will make him sick, i myself allergic to the smell of the marker pen...
Tiger LIly, is great to read your post....usually when v go for walking and in the car, i will point out to him see, that's cow, that's car, that's boy and so on....but that happen only one or twice a month...not many time....
i feel so regret for going to work after my son is born actually, but if i quit my husband wont be able to mange everything by himself ...that's for sure....

Annother thing i dont feel good is that, in 1 week time, they only have 4 days of classes - Thursday until Sunday. Monday & Sunday close, Wednesday is only for Admin job. No wonder...no wonder..no wonder ...the queue to join the class is so so very long!!  If they open 7 days a week like Gymboree, i guess many parents can join the SM.

Btw, my personal opinion - its too expensive. I might as well teach my dotter at home myself using GOGO Education Set. Lr & LM, once a week bring her to her social class - Gymboree to have fun with friends,...hehehe

it's my 2 cents opinion anyway .. unless if the rate is cheaper, i might change my mind ..hehehe

i think im about to give up on my effort of teaching my son to read...
i started created the flash card like written in doman's book....in april...
i tried to show to my son in May...
i show him once or twice only the words...
it took me abt 3 months to finish up the first 15 words...
im helpless...there are so many things to do at home when i come back from work...
i was suffering my severe gasterictic too...
my mom is taking care of my son when im away for work...
she was ill for sometime last month...i had send my son for babysitting for abt 2 weeks..
in that duration i had no chance to teach him...

on 7th july i started with the another set of 5 words.. but till now(today is 23rd july)i havent finish with the words
ive shown him only abt 10 times...another 5 times will take a month i think...
my son was sick on sunday...high fever..i didnt continue at all with card

sigh...i felt so angry with myself for not able to give early education for my son...
i feel like giving up....  


it's not that im complaining of my life..
i know out there ppl are suffering more...
hope anyone can help me...

when i saw YBCR cd by dr.trizer, i was surprise the flash card tht he showed to his daughter, it was not flash card, it's flash paper-bcoz it looked so soft n thin...
and i felt so regret for spending more time creating the card rather than emphasizing on the teaching my son

ok...back to the story-when i first showed the cd to my son, he didnt really react to the cd...he gace a bore signal
yesterday, i showed again the cd to him, but this time i say together the words, sing together and showed the body parts together when the cd says...my son reacts better than previous.
and i was so excited when suddenly he uttered the yes and nodd his head like in the cd...

im also preparing the material for doman's method, lets c how it works for my son...
