my hubbys relatives would say jonas looks like her dad... my relatives would say jonas looks like her mom... hehehe! but as i look at my son i could see my eyes and my nose and my hubbys lips and ears (",) which means my son is good looking than his father! hahaha!

I think it will be nice... im interested with that...  Im enjoying my son so much and wanted to be there for him in his childhood as much as i can... i read and surf a lot just to give my son everything thats good for him... thats why im so happy to be a part of this family of concerned parents... i make a shedule for my sons daily activities and i see to it that he is enjoying it... theres a time to play alone, play with mom, go out and enjoy same age friends and watch educational cd's...  i feel proud everytime i see he learns...

yap i knew that, my OB advices me to put on lotion in my stomach to prevent stretch marks... and it works, i dont have stretch marks on my tummy... when i was pregnant from 45 kgs i went on 59 before giving birth and my son was only 2.75kgs (",) yap, i blotted up! though i was lucky not to have stretch marks in my tummy and never thought of having it bikini area (",) i never put lotion in that area as far as i culd remember during my pregnancy...

anyways... tv is a good learning instrument for kids as long as you chose rightly the shows he is watching...

I think altheas problem is not on protecting her daughters skin from sun... her problem is what she will apply on her daughters skin to make it smooth and white again... (",) any whitening lotion you know that are safe for babies?

im using avent for my son but i can not see any difference... thats an honest to goodness reality... and its expensive her in the philippines...

I have a niece 3 1/2 years old and an avid fan of barney, baby einstein and lots of educational dvd's... we are in the philippines but mind you she can speak english very well with good accent...

its a matter of chosing what you are presenting to your child... and controlling the time she spent watching tv and monitoring what she is watching couple with interaction and guidance...  it doesnt mean that you have to let him stay the whole day watching tv... its a matter of scheduling your childs activity and keep on changing it as he advance.

i belive that the best way to take advantage of the windows of learning oppurtunity is to expose your child to an environment filled with words, sounds, pictures, books, textures, music, objects and oppurtunities to play and explore...

Jonas makes a sad face as we read the story colors of the rainbow in the brillkids lite- he saw the clouds crying... he returns his toy in the toy box everytime he wants to go out of the room to stroll... yesterday i put my credit card billing statement in the side table of our room and when i return i could not find it... so i asked jonas "please return the paper you took in the table" then he moves around and went back to me stretching his hand with my billing statement... so nice to know he really understand as i talk to him (",)

its quite normal that babies feel that way and almost all of thenm woukld have same reactions... but whats important is your there to comfort them, hugging them and kissing them... its the best medicine any mom have... 

my pedia prescribes paracetamol for the fever and pain... and i used oleia, its an edible oil that heals any kind of inflamation...

My son is 14 month old at the moment and his teeth is almost complete...  whn he was 8months he already have 8 teeth...  eversince he was a moth old i was already cleaning his tongue and his gums...  when his about to complete his teeth when he was 10 months old i started to brush his teeth  ith a bristle and pigeon brand tooth paste for toddlers...  before i started brushing his own teeth i would always face him as i brush my teeth and sing him a song...

and everytime he saw me brushing... he would make an action that he was brushing too, thats the time i realize the he is ready for brushing...

now, we let him brush his teeth alone... and he enjoys it so much...
