I have just finished the two semesters of Little Musician. When will the next two semesters be available?

How are they different than other "pre-band" instruments than Flutophones (also made in the USA) or Tonette? Or for that matter, why not start with a recorder?  These are also considered instruments used before taking up the clarinet or saxophone. I see than the  Kidwind need reeds and the Flutophone or Tonette don't. Why not a Kinder Klari or a Lyons clarinet?

Many people have found Music for Little Mozarts (http://www.musicforlittlemozarts.com/) to be good for preschool children, but it is advertised for ages 4-6. It uses ABCs instead of solfege.  There is also My First Piano Adventures (http://pianoadventures.com/myfirst/) for ages 5 and 6.

However, if you are having a hard time instituting piano into your life, perhaps you want to look into group piano classes for preschool children. On the forums of pianoworld.com, there are the following quotes:

"Music for Young Children ("MYC" www.myc.com) is one of a very small handful of group piano programs available. Harmony Road (www.harmonyroadmusic.com) and Yamaha are others. My understanding is that the Yamaha program was the 'original' group piano method (it's been around for 30+ years) and that the others are in a sense offshoots of it. My son participated in Kindermusik for the Young Child, which is a program for 4-7 year old kids, and he got as part of the program a Glockenspiel http://store.kindermusik.com/p-302-kindermusik-glockenspiel.aspx (made by Sonor), which I believe is tuned very well. I use it myself to review the pitches from Little Musician. It's not too expensive (although I can't speak for how much shipping will be), so you may want to check it out.
