Mēs tik tagad mateni paskatamies, dikti slimo man mazākā meitiņa.

Sveiks, Frukc! Vai nav kādi jaunumi vai joprojām esi 2in1?
Kā veicas ar lasīšanu un citām gudrībām? Man te tāds sabremzējiens iestājies.

Many thanks to all of you. You gave me so many wonderfull sites and ideas, we have a craft schedule for a month already. Karma to all of you!
4  EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child - Signing, Speaking, Languages / Re: Going to live in Switzerland for 3 mnths on: January 23, 2010, 12:54:29 AM
I am not from Switzerland, but a  European neighbour country and been many times in Switzerland. As Skylark already told you there are 4 national languages, more can you find on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swiss_languages.
There are French speaking region in the west and German speaking region in center and north, other minor region is Italian in the south and very small Romansh speaking comunity. But I would like to advise you strongly that in German part mostly they speak many strong dialects that is quite hard to understand even for native German people, more you can find on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schweizerdeutsch

As to French, my teacher studied French in Switzerland and she said that after studies native French people laughed and smiled when she spoke. It is not exactly a dialect spoken in French part of Switzerland, but pronounciation and vocabulary differs a bit.

So before you send your kid to some school, find out what language and what dialect they are speaking.
5  EARLY LEARNING / Teaching Your Child - Other Topics / Arts and crafts books or websites for 2 years old on: January 22, 2010, 12:05:26 AM
Could anyone please recommend some good and not very complicated (in a sense of materials used) craft books or pages for a 2year old? Thanks

7  Local Support Groups / General Discussions / Re: Sveikas, cīņubiedres! on: October 21, 2009, 01:49:21 PM
paldies, paldies! Failu novilku un atvēru! Vai Tu savējai joprojam rādi tikai 1x dienā vārdus latviski vai tagad biežāk?
Un vispār - vissirsnīgākie apsveicieni! (netīšām uzzināju sarunā What would you have done differently?"

Par publiku runājot, es tiešām apbrīnoju šeit mammas no Āzijas (Malaizijas, Indijas, Filipīnām), kas izglīto savus bērnus, ieguldot milzīgus līdzekļus, laiku un izdomu. Varbūt, ka es pati dzīvoju stereotipos, bet, cik pāris reižu esmu bijusi taipusē, tad palicis iespaids, ka ļoti neliela daļa to varētu atļauties.

8  EARLY LEARNING / Early Learning - General Discussions / Re: How to teach Shichida method? on: October 19, 2009, 05:44:33 PM
Here is the thread about talking to a sleeping child:
BrillKids Forum > Early Learning - General Discussions > Benefits of sleep talking?

Thank you Frukc, I'll order the book, I read the very positive reviews in amazon.
9  EARLY LEARNING / Early Learning - General Discussions / Re: How to teach Shichida method? on: October 19, 2009, 12:23:19 PM
I read  a discussion somewhere here (unfortunately  I cannot find it right now) about affirmation words told to a child in sleep. And the conclusion was that these words should be said right at the moment when the child is really falling asleep but not sleeping yet. Because when falling asleep a child enters a natural alpha state and that there is no use to talk to him later when he is sound asleep. There is almost nothing to find on Internet on this subject. Does anyone knows more about the right time to give positive affirmation? Of course it is never too much and it does no harm if we say it to the sleeping child, but it would be good to know the best moment?
10  BEYOND EARLY LEARNING (for older years) / General Discussions - After Early Learning / Re: Wink Program - Right Brain Kids on: October 18, 2009, 07:42:02 PM
THen, have you bought the Wink program? Do you have any comments?
Unfortunately the thread mentioned above mostly deals with TweedleWink, there are no comments on Wink programm.
11  Local Support Groups / General Discussions / Re: Sveikas, cīņubiedres! on: October 15, 2009, 09:00:55 PM
Paldies par failiem! Forši!
Lai atvērtu Daily reading sarakstam, man jānokačā PP upgrade no Microsoft lapas, tas prasa gandrīz 2 stundas, grūti atrast laiku, cerams šovakar pieķeršos.

P.S. Tajos 70 vārdos pie vārda "Sīpols" ir ķirbīša bilde. Sorre, ka piekasos, tas nav tā domāts - pati ne ar ko nedalās, bet citus kritizē.
12  Products Marketplace / Product Partners / Re: Wink and Tweedle Wink Program on: October 15, 2009, 08:28:18 PM
Thank you for the answer, Wennie! Do you mean that it is not possible to do the wink program without special couse taken? Is it enough to read the guide that comes with the programme and the new book "Right brain education"?

I have another question about your programme and Nonverbal learning disorder that is believed to be neuro-developmental disorder of the right hemisphere of the brain. Do you have any experience or advice regarding Nonverbal learning disorder and your programme?

iga  reku, uzdūros šajā forumā tēmai par ABA autisma terapiju:
http://forum.brillkids.com/general-discussion-b5/aba-program-for-autism/

15  Products Marketplace / Product Partners / Re: Wink and Tweedle Wink Program on: October 13, 2009, 11:16:34 PM
I am interested in Wink for the 6y old kid that do NOT understand English (yet). Can a child benefit from your 7 steps programme package without understanding English? Or which steps should probably be excluded?
