Hi Everyone,
I have a wonderful 5 year old daughter who has Down Syndrome. Her name is Brooklyn and she is currently in Kindergarten. She is a happy and healthy little girl who enjoys riding her tricycle (just recently figured out the pedaling concept and now loves it!), going to the park, listening to music and looking at books. We also have a 3 year old little girl who is not of special needs. They get along like most sisters do....!
We live in Canada and are lucky to be supported in our community with various social and therapeutic programs. I purchased a used copy of the Your Baby
Can Read system and Brooklyn is loving it. Her verbalization has improved and we are amazed at how she is rolling through the program. I am considering Brill Kids as a system that I would like to try next. I have been reading some of the posts and am excited by the positive responses!
I look forward to reading and learning about the different families and their strategies.
Brad
