i also experience prenatal stress and i would agree with nikita, my baby is so fussy and demanding at most times. i promise to stay calm on my second pregnancy. thanks to a lot of reading and stories, i'm beginning to picture out a good pregnancy a year from now.

i never had a video of my baby. i'll try it next time. i just have plenty of 3d pictures of her. but video is the best specially those times that my husband can't come with me on my ultrasound. he loves hearing my stories of what the doctor said during ultrasound.

i am also a home stay mom, but i'm still thinking of other thing to do to help my husband. i'm good in crafts, any suggestion?
i was thinking of making diaper cakes since i never seen anyone making here in dubai. most of them are giving sweets when someone gave birth. i thought diaper cake is a very practical gift.
to all home stay moms, don't feel guilty. most of my friends do have careers. but as a full time wife, i think this is my career and i'll make the most of it, specially teaching my baby and see her a smart, brilliant and intelligent one. it's the best fulfillment in life.

You better try their suggestions, i had a horrible experience in giving birth, except for the fact that i finally saw my baby. but it took me more than 2 days to see her because i delivered through cs section and she was in nicu. sad to say, i was never prepare on it. i've been so tough and i try hard to deliver normal but sometimes things didn't happen the way you wanted it to be. 24 hours of labor is really worst, that i almost sacrifice my baby's health. do a lot of exercise, my husband is very afraid that i will deliver without anyone with me because his workplace is quite far from home. so he never wanted me to go outside for a walk. i never thought that it's not that easy to deliver and the baby won't just come up. talk to your baby!!! i remember telling my baby to come out when his daddy is off. exactly on the last day of office, i gave birth.... everyone has different side of stories and i think all are unforgetable even if you have more than 1 child.

Hi to all, I just want to ask if there's anyone of you who try to use any language course for children. Is Muzzy ok? Did anyone try it already. Please help me if you know one because i want to start teaching my daughter french language. i'm using other early learning materials, you can check it out. They've got lots of books and my daughter loves it. www.etlhomelearning.com. my husband bought it when my baby is only 3 months old. again i'm looking forward to your suggestions. thanks in advance. haydee

hi nadia,
you're right, when it comes to resources there's a lot here. Liana took her swimming lesson at 15 mos. we can do it in the Philippines but not in a formal wy (teacher-student). we plan to enroll her in a toddler programme this coming september (1st term here) as she lacks social interaction with other people because we just have few relatives here. in short "parang nagbabayad ka lang ng kalaro nya."
hope we can exchange messages often.

hello to all of you, vanessa, larz etc, etc.
i'm a first mom too, and iba talaga feeling pag first baby. as in complete lahat. you wanted everything to be perfect and in order. aside from that, first "apo"din ang baby (Liana). 16 mos now.ko coz i'm the eldest among the eldest .
i'm happy that a lot of filipino moms spend time teaching their babies. i'm a fulltime mom kaya i don't have any reason not to do it. i think that will be my career now. and i plan to succeed in this job.
by the way, same name. tayo tayo din ang nagpopost sa tagalog forum.
i just envy all of you coz i'm not in the philippines. iba kasi ang bonding ng family dyan. my baby isn't experiencing being with the lolo's & lolas, tito's and tita's.
