Can anyone help me with ideas and methods that you have used with your children to keep them focused on their task.My son who is 8 years old comes home with complaints that he is not finishing his work on time in class. He knows what he has to do but won't focus .When he is done with his work they are right but he finishes it very slow compared with his friends.If i offer him a reward he finished really quick. But this won't work in school. My 4 year old will finish fast or gets distracted fast. I really don't know how to keep them focused in one place till their homework or school work is done.
 
Any one who has some ideas that has worked for them with their children pls. help me please.

           Eventhough i am in this forum for a while i still don't know how to figure out  things correctly.Can anyone help me and let me know the procedure for showing flash cards.
1.How many cards should we show daily.
2. Howmany times per day.
3.What cards should i show first?
I don't have YBCR or LR but i have made some flash cards.
Is there any specification for making flash cards?
I've a 15 month old girl and i think iam really late .
If someone can answer these questions it will be helpful for me to go and start.

I am totally fascinated by everything I read about the Shichida classes.  I have not found any classes in the U.S - does anyone know if there are any?  Are there any books that I could follow to implement some of the exercises at home?  I watched the videos on youtube of the Shichida kids and they are totally amazing - I would love to teach my children some of those skills.  Thanks.

 I've heard about this "Little gems - infant education" which is in Chennai.
Do you have any idea about this course?Its Dr.Glenn Doman method of teaching
and they even start before birth ie.)they say they do training to simulate the babies
brain in the womb.Did anyone take this course ?Heard they have tamil flash cards.
    Can anyone give some review about this?There is a programme called 'Mazhalai manam' in
jeya tv about this programme.
     If there is some one out there who took this training or knew someone who is having
a child under this training ,can you give me some details about the material ,the course 
and the training.  Any review or some details should be fine.
