Thanks allthatiam, it's hard to make the videos as you really need to think about who their aimed at, it's often easy to go off on a tangent and put in things you may find amusing but then a 4-5 year old may not.  For example we had a long debate about whether or not to put in the peasant hanging upside down in the Months of the Year video.  In the end we did and he's been well received.

That's why we always value feedback, it helps keep things on track, though at the same time we try to include a bit of humour and not be too twee.

My husband did want to put the peasant  in a Mangle and stretch his arms and legs as a scene for the video but I vetoed that one 

Next up is the alphabet with Phonics, may be a couple of weeks away because I'm behind in my work and have a few sets of accounts to prepare before I've any free time.

I made this video after a suggestion from a Nursery School Teacher who wanted something like this to use in her class.

Firstly thank-you for the feedback for my last two educational videos, Days of the week and Count to 10

I do these as a hobby in my spare time so it's nice when they are well received

I received a request  to come up with a song for learning the months of the year. It's a tricky subject to come up with a tune for as the words don't exactly line themselves to rhyming. Instead I approached it from a different angle and told it as a story style song instead.

So it's a fairytale, Kings, Princesses, Bard and Knights all included.

I think it took over 30hours to make this, the video required a lot of work. The music itself I tried to keep traditional medieval sounding.

I'd be really grateful for any feedback, areas where I can improve or things I may have left out.

Also if anyone suggests a topic for a new song I'll see what I can come up with and post it here when it's done.

The next song I'll be tackling is the Alphabet with Phonics included. Again a tricky one but I'll try to put some originality into it.

I think maybe you're referring to Spike the Guitar player.  I hope he's a bit happier in the Count to 10 video.  Its just his grumpy nature.  Ill make sure when I complete the Months of the year video he's really happy.

I thought it would be an idea to give this video I made a new thread.

If you missed the last video I posted (Days of the Week) then I'll just mention that as a hobby I like to make music and recently combined it with short animations.

In this video the idea was to cover Count to 10 but to come up with a sort of catchy tune with a bit of a beat to it.

I make the videos and songs along with my Husband and Children, this one was lots of fun to make but did take a loads of time. We have never used animation software prior to this so have to learn as we go and draw all the backgrounds and design the characters etc. I'm really far behind in my proper work because Ive been spending so much time doing this.

I hope anyone with a toddler who is learning to count will find this useful and I'd be really grateful if you could take the time to watch the video and maybe offer suggestions as to other areas I could cover.

I just finished up a new video, its a different take on learning the days of the week.   It's done in an animated quiz style format and also covers the spelling of the days of the week.

I hope it's of some help and as always any suggestions for new videos are appreciated.

 I work as an accountant as my day job but as a hobby i have an interest in music and recently making animated videos for music.

As a favour to a friend I made a short video on the Days of the Week to help her son learn them.   I though it might be an idea to share the video as well
as get feedback on it as well as suggestions for future videos.

I enjoyed the process so much I plan to make more.
