I doubt social networks are best places to learn a language. Kids won't learn it properly simply because while chatting they will short words which may eventually influence their writing skills. And I'm telling this based on my own experience. I started learning English chatting with my Facebook friends from ll over the world.And in the end not only I was misspelling 50% of words I was using, my grammar was awful. Sometimes I even resorted to http://acewriters.org/essay-helper.html for proofreading help. I was so devastated    In the end I just joined English classes, not the online one (I hate those ) Anyways, do NOT learn English or any other language in social networks.
