Ok, I think I've solved one issue by adjusting the auto forward delay. The issue I still have is in regard to slow playback. I was really hoping that the playback would be similar to what I saw on the LM tutorial videos. It shows a rapidly changing screen. Right now, when you start the lesson, it shows the picture for about 4 seconds and then the voice comes on and says "one". On the tutorial video it shows the picture for about one second or less and the voice comes on right away. I have a brand new computer with all the latest bells and whistles so I'm pretty sure it's not my computer that's the problem unless there's a setting that needs to be changed. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the FFD thing. I've checked all the audio and video settings as well. I'm starting to think it's the program itself that is flawed. For example, when I go into the numbers library and click on the "sounds" tab, I can play each number. When I press the "play selected sound" button there is significant dead air time before the voice finally comes on and says "one". This is not good... I was under the assumption that this program was modeled after the Doman theory of rapid flash information. Unfortunately, this is not rapid. Please say there is something you can do to fix this
The idea is fantastic but this issue is a real problem.
