Teaching during vacation is not something I would ever do. But learning during vacation is always welcome. There is a difference between
teaching a curriculum and learning things from real world experiences. When we go on a vacation, I encourage my daughter to maintain a journal and write what she saw, tasted and experienced through the day. I push her to follow a hobby and try to incorporate that with learning in vacation because kids might hate studying but they will always find time for their hobby. Recently, she developed an interest towards photography so we bought her a basic camera. She clicked pictures all through the vacation and learned so many things that a normal curriculum might not teach.
