you can show pictures but not together with the words. If possible try introducing pictures when your child is about 1 yr old or more. but if you want to show him pictures also do it separtely. If you are doing 2 session a day than 1 session show him only words and the 2nd session show him only the pic. Yes the GD set is quite expensive. are you guys staying in K.L? if yes which part?

Actually your baby is willing to take more than what you plan to teach him.
You can do the english and the maths flashcard at the same time just one after another. The vcd's and computer slide shows also can be shown. In fact you can use all these three methods for your child. Maybe in the afternoon or evening your sister can play the vcd or computer slide show for him and when you are back from work you can use the flash cards. variety are also important to hold on to their interest and concentration.
In time to come there may not be any flash cards!!!!!

Qidshi Mum & geniusqarissa  It's quite interesting to read through all ur infos. Well I have called up the Shichida school in Damansara Utama and guess what I have to be on the waiting list to enrol her in the class. which is for next year!!!!!( 2010) BELIEVE IT?!?!

No matter which center you send your child just make sure they have experienced and qualified teachers teaching in that center. Even if the program is good but if the teachers don't know the right method of teaching than it's no use. I,as a kindy teacher, for the past 12 years know the importance of teachers in a center.

If you want original brainy dvd for a cheaper price go to Lowyat Plaza. I got a few from there and its good.You can also get the Baby Einstein cd and dvd there.

I quite impressed on all your topic and sub-topics. You can get more sub topics from the children encyclopedic books,which are now available in market. How old is your children? did the glenn doman method work for you? As I am also using the glenn doman method and their flash cards for english and maths. I need some advise if possible to make it more interesting for my child.

I'm new here and have gone through all the info, but I still have a doubt, Little Readers is only consist of slide shows only. What about the  manual flash card? Don't they use it? I'm still confused with the method. There is no proper and detailed explanation on this method.My daughter is 11 months old and I have been using the Glenn Doman Flash cards. Recently she doesn't show interest on the flash card. She's not even seeing the flash cards. That is when I surfed the net and came across Brillkids "Little Readers". I want my daughter to enjoy and participate in all her sessions. Can you guide me through the problem I'm facing.Please help.

I'm new here. I have been using flash cards for my daughter ,11months old, from birth. Due to some problem I had to stop the flash card for a month, then I started using it again but when I started again she didn't show any interest to the flash cards. She didn't even want look at the  flash cards. But I am still showing her the cards. i'm afraid she will lose interest because i'm forcing her to see. Please advise!!!!!!!
