I'm not sure about all the other programs but my husband has installed VMware Fusion or a Virtual Machine that allows you to open windows. It sounds a lot like what you've described.  I've tried to use it on my own for other windows programs, but it confuses me.  I'll have to see if he can install the reader for me.  Hopefully it will be easy enough to get to, but I'm not sure. 

I'm on a mac computer. Is there anyway for the software to be opened with a mac or is this just for windows? I really hope there is a way to start it...
