Thanks teachingmykids,
Im not in US. i have shown my son to Speech pathologist, he is on speech therapy, the problem is conversation. he dose not talk. he is still using word level. As a mother i feel sad that he dose not talk. He is my first. I have no experience of handling kids. I just want to know is there a way to make interactive verbal communication with my son?

Hi Sandy! It's so happy to see your son enjoying LR. Well there is no rule as such you could show 1 session or more. I used to show my son more than 2 times a day. he loves to see action words and animals so I use to show that when he is in good mood. some times I show him what he like first and then he doesn't like after that again what he likes. The more you show, the more and fast he know it. This keep him Happy

Hi All, My son is just 20 months, he is a fan of LR. he could say almost all words in it, whether it is long or short he try it. he could act on words like say "crawl" and the show how he "crawl". Since 5 months on wards I Have been using LR. with it i used to show YBCR, Signing time and Brainy baby too. I do some time use my own PDF files which is not show in any of other teaching methods. Like explain who things work and name of the places etc. since now my son is saying word, I use to show LR with out sound. then also he say the words. I believe HE is a SUCCESSFUL little READER. Thanks to BK team.

I started when my son was about 5mths, from the time i start showing LR, the very first sing was, my son been happy. even now the most happiest moment in day is LR time. . the smile on his face is amazing so i kept him showing it at least 2 times a day or more. However, until he was 12months he never said a world from it, but now he is 19mnths and he says few words and knows almost all actions. I truly believe that " Been Happy" for what you do is very important.

Parents' Lounge / General Parenting / Re: My baby doesn't sleep well through the night - Help pls

Hi Arvi,
My Baby too wakes in night and some times very hard to put him to sleep. However there is time he sleeps very well. What I observed is some times he get up and I get late to put him sleep or if I am too hurry to put him sleep he tent to be up for long time. There are times if he is not feeling well, like mild cold or he feel too cool/warm then also he tends to stay up. Most of time if my son is crying in the night, I find it at lat he is sick or allergic to some thing. So it’s like he is communicating to us via cry. The last time when he cried and less sleepy in night, he was having a bad cold + skin rash which was shown out after couple of days. I felt so sorry for him. Mean while I was guilty not for knowing my baby. If a baby is crying at night then for sure there is some thing wrong, just be patent and observe your babies feeling. Good luck.

hi rizoo, I too had same when i was preg, The best advice I heard was " when it is closer to due date your body signal you to rest, this is in order to gain energy for the last day." since you are on the clock you need to rest, sleep, pray, watch a movies, read, eat, do all happy things u like and have a happy time in the labour room. ( short period). good luck .
