Thank you so much for your reply!I had tried showing LR to him again during the weekend, and he is now taking more interest in LR and can sit through the whole lesson with his attention affixed at the screen. Seems like it's a phrase which my baby is going through and he may just not be ready for LR at that time..

By the way, would you happen to know how would i upgrade my LR version from the downloaded trial version? I had tried inserting the CD rom to "add-on" semester 1 and 2 , but there is problem running the .exe files. So i'm stuck at Lesson 10 with the constant message of "upgrade to continue lesson"  . Would i have to uninstall the current trial LR version and reinstall the cd version of my LR?

I've just bought the Deluxe LR and installed Sem 1 + 2 onto my laptop.

When i played semester 1- lesson 1 for my 4 months old son, the words flash shows basic words group eg, clap, wave, smile which my son finds quite enjoyable. However, going on to the multisensory within the same lesson, it not only shows the short clip/cartoon of the basic words group, but goes on to Parts of the body as well as Common Animals.

Is the curriculum meant to be this way? eg for multisensory portion to introduce more words/actions on top of the words flash portion? And will it be ok if there is no correlation between the subjects? eg parts of the body has no correlation to common animals.

If it is, is there any way to edit the amount of multisensory to be played? I do find it too lengthy to be played at the same time and I can also see my son's eyes glazing over and starting to lose attention by the time Parts of the body is over. I have tried to select the wheel icon for the settings, however, selections are all greyed off and not selectable.

Would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Have downloaded LM trial version for my little guy and he absolutely loves it!  I will be going back to work next week, and i may have time to only show him both sessions at one go. Will it also be ok to show him both session 1 and session 2's lesson together? Can i also continue showing him the next day's lessons if he still shows interest in it after finishing session 1 and 2? Or will it be better for me to rerun the current day's session 1 and 2 for him to reinforce the information?

My 4 month old baby is also facing the same thing! I've just downloaded the trial version of both LR and LM. He adores LM and will stare unblinkingly when i show him..However, when i play LR for him, he will fidget and start crying after a while. I thought the speed of the slideshow for LR was too slow for him, that's why he didn't enjoy LR      ..Maybe i should introduce LR to him at a later stage instead.

By the way, is LR itself sufficient in teaching babies the same thing as the deluxe kit? By the time i reach home, it'll be around 8pm plus and my baby's bedtime is normally around 9. I'm concerned I may not have enough time to show him both the LM, LR as well as doing flashcards and reading the storybooks to him... 

Thanks! I think i figured out how to do it...did a google, and some parents did an alternative way with the aeroplane play with their legs bend 90% and placing babies on their shin. Think i'll try that . 

Actually, no ...or at least not on a 0-6 months infant. . I still couldn't quite envisionalise how it's done..If our feet was on his chest and our hands supporting his arms, won't the lower half of his body be flopping downwards and his neck be without support?  Aren't their necks too soft to be doing this and won't they suffer from whiplash injuries with the bobbing of head ?  

My boy's feeding time varies ..

1st month :- Every 3 hours
2nd month :- Every 2 hours..During growth spurts..it could be around 1.5 hrs to 1.45 hrs
3rd month till now going to 4th month :- Every 3 hours and at night..could be extended to 4 hours plus thankfully!

Look for ways to engage your baby's senses. Play "airplane" by holding your baby up and moving him through the air, with your feet on his chest and your hands supporting his arms. Make whooshing noises and talk about the directions you're going in.

Should it be his feet on our chest rather than the other way round? Or is it meant for the parent to be lying down and proping the baby up with our feet?
